Theres no way that the main event doesnt get fight of the year...

Gonna be stupid again and back Bendo to win, although Edgar will probs prove me wrong again the sneaky bastard.

I haven't seen Benson fight but I like Edgar's footwork, movement and speed.

This is top to bottom one of the better UFC PPV cards I've seen in a long time. Good mix of names and intriguing match ups.

I'll be cheering for Bendo, but I'm done betting against Edgar.

Nigga, eastern time is the global time zone that all of the east coast of America falls under. I can't possibly make this clearer:

UFC 144 is on at 10 pm on Saturday in America on the east coast.

I'm debating between paying for a premium stream or taking my chances with the Internets.

I think Bader is going to wrestlefuck Rampage, Shields will sub Sexyama and Edgar takes Bendo via decision.

True that and usually that's the way I go, unless it's a big one where me and my friends order a PPV.

I just don't want to fight with streams cutting out or having to click through four or five to find one with good clarity and no lagging for a card like this, but at the same time, it's not something I want to put money down on for a PPV. #Westernworldproblems

Tim Boetsch just mauled Okami with uppercuts. I’ve never seen anything like that before.

With Okami losing, would a rematch between Silva and Belfort be possible if they win their next fights?

Pretty cool seeing Slampage back too

Also Edgar catching all Bendo's kicks even with one eye, what a boss, hope he fights Melendez next, dont wanna see him move down weight to a shit division when hes been so competitive at 155

Mr. C
02-26-2012, 03:00 PM
it's possible but there are guys in front of him I'd say, Munoz would be my guess if he wins his next fight

Who else is left? Belcher hasn't been active enough, Stann just lost, Munoz is on the sidelines, Bisping just lost, Palhares hasn't beaten anyone good, and now Okami has lost two in a row. I see it like this:

1. Silva
2. Sonnen
3. Belfort
4. Bisping
5. Munoz
6. Weidman
7. Belcher
8. Palhares
9. Boetsch
10. Stann

Next Big Thing
02-26-2012, 03:13 PM
Silva and Sonnen don't fight until June. Munoz will be healthy before then. Plus, Belfort is supposed to fight Wanderlei Silva in the finale of the Brazil Ultimate Fighter this summer.

I think Munoz should fight Bisping and the winner of that can fight the winner of Silva/Sonnen. Yeah Bisping lost, but it's not like Chael dominated him to the point where it was clear that Sonnen was that much more superior to Bisping and Munoz was supposed to be in that match anyway.

Don't really know why people want to see a potential Belfort/Silva rematch anyway. Dude got knocked the fuck out like damn near everyone before him. The UFC should let someone new get KOed.

Weidman verus Belfort would be a good fight later in the year, if only to see whether Weidman is the real deal.

Mr. C
02-26-2012, 04:00 PM
Anderson/Sonnen II and Belfort/Wanderlei II are both happening in Sao Paulo.

Belfort may be the only fighter with any hope of holding his own in an exchange with Anderson and was returning after a 17-month layoff when they first fought.

Weidman is a prospect, and Belfort would wreck him.

Henderson out up to 6 months from medical suspensions, hands and his left foot. Probably gonna have like 3 viable contenders by the time he's ready. Lightweight division is the man.

Next Big Thing

It was close. I'm not really upset about seeing them go again.

Dana kind of forced this rematch when he came out and said he thought Edgar won the fight. You can't be the boss and say shit like that after a championship fight and not have a rematch.
