Took me about 60 hours, but I did most of the side-quests and was having too much fun hearing the two main characters discussing movies.

From what I've read, can probably bang it out in about 10-20 if you want. You might miss a lot of delightful things though and there's not much better out there to play anyway.

Only first saw Twin Peaks a year or two ago, but it's a pretty cool show and the only reason I'm considering purchasing this.

Really? I watched Twin Peaks afterwards because of how much I enjoyed the game. A decent knowledge of 80's films helps, I found though.

As for side-quests, it's all character development really. You learn a lot about the town and why it is like it is.

Got this for xbox360 recently. Maybe will trade this and amular for the new version. Been playing amular for a while and just never had that moment where I was sold.witcher 2 however got me as soon as I was in flotsam.

It's got a new prologue and a branching ending system as well as updated graphics and controls.

If you're as insane as me, it's worth it. For people who have never played it or don't have a 360, this is worth it.

For you... Eh. It's coming out at £40 by the looks of it. It's out tomorrow, leave it a week and look at the new cutscenes on YouTube or something.

This recipe serves 8.
What you will need: Balls.
Ingredients:
A Loaf of White Crustless Bread
2 Turkey Breasts
A Jar of High Quality Strawberry Jam or Conserve
Cereal - I chose a Nestlé Pick-A-Pack (Cheerios, Nesquik, Honey Shreddies, Cookie Crisp, Honey Cheerios and Shreddies)
Butter or Margarine
Making the Sandwich:
I bought my turkey breast fresh and cooked it slowly in the oven with a little butter - but feel free to use pre-cooked chunks, not processed slices.
Get two pieces of bread; spread a little butter on one and the strawberry conserve liberally on the other.
Cut the turkey breast into medium slices at an angle and lay the pieces onto the buttered piece of bread.
Pick a cereal of your choice and sprinkle generously over the conserve.
Place the second piece of bread strawberry side down on top and cut the sandwich diagonally to serve.

Hey Hasney, this doesn't merit another thread and apparently bringing things up via PM is "bad" or something, so let me just ask your thoughts on the folks behind DP being involved in Drakengard 3.

Considering how screwed up the first game was (don't know about the second), I'm kind of wondering if this may end up being some sort of cult game right down your alley.

I never played the second one either, but the first one was ace even if it confused the fuck out of me at the time. Having just looked up the story on Wiki, it's no wonder I was confused since they just ripped out the incest and the pedo for the English version and the girl who killed herself in the game did so because of the incest instead of just randomly.

I'd probably say it's similar in terms of fun factor, but the actual gameplay of Deadly Premonition is loosely GTAish open world in the exploration segments and a wonky Resident Evil 4 in the action sequences.

You can probably find the 360 version very cheap at this point if you wanted to give it a shot. It's about £5 over here now.
