Blu-Ray conversions (WWE Blu-ray conversion issue)

So I am planning to convert most of my Blu-ray movies to digital and sell them on Amazon since they are a pain in the ass to move.

I am currently using two tools

- WinX Blu-Ray Decrypter
- RipBot64

Which is the best video format to convert my bluray movies to? I also want to save movie commentaries for certain titles.

Helpful replies shall be thanked by some of humble rep. Thanks.

h.264 seems to be best for 1080P, while .mkv seems to be the norm for 720P. It's always better to try for a specific quality level, rather than try for file-size. If you go for a smaller file-size, you're going to have considerable loss as far as quality goes. Keep in mind, however, that the very best in quality could wind up a file that's in excess of 20gb.

I can afford upto 6-8 GB of storage per movie. Also planning not to change the dimensions of the film.

Are those programs easy to use Guru Gecko,ive being trying to rip my blurays to my pc for long enough without success.

Handbrake is a good program to encode with. You will have to rip/crack the blu-ray first though.

It's ridiculously easy and the output is pretty satisfactory.

You might want to. Say you have a major hardrive crash and you have to reformat. Unless it gives you the option of a "Safe Recovery" (possible as long as the hardrive itself isnt physically damaged and will allow you) and you're able to save the digital copies. If not, then they're gone...and you wont have to Blu-rays around to make new copies. ALWAYS, keep your DVD's yo.

I know but it's a hassle to carry them around. I am still looking for a job and might have to move somewhere else. I don't want to take them everywhere I go.

Having a hard time converting my WWE Blu-Rays. The discs get decrypted but they cannot be played or be converted to any other compressed format.

Which is just a container and you can have about 500 different codecs within that.

Not surprising. Copyright protection, particularly on some Blu-Ray media, can be VERY tricky to get passed. I tried versions of Nero and others, and just gave up. lol

I dont understand why people buy blu rays and then rip them..I get that were becoming a physical media phobic society but it just doesn't make sense to me.

I travel a lot. And if I have to move, I am not willing to spend money on moving the discs. So I am going to leave the collection at my housemate's place or sell them. Haven't decided yet.
