I'm not sure if this goes in the wrestling forum or movies/tv forum but who cares.

Anyways, what movie character(s) do see could be great wrestlers. I'm talking about character and personality.

One character that comes to mind is Appollo Creed (Carl Weathers) from Rocky. He has the mic work, the charisma, and personality which IMO makes an entertaining wrestler. He could be a great heel.

What other movie character(s) can you think of?

Wesley Snipes. In any way, shape or form. Simon Phoenix from Demolition Man comes to mind.

Riddick from "Pitch Black." Deadly. Cool. But his character is very silent, so I'd have Chris Tucker's character from 5th Element be his manager.

Robocop.

What?

Fine. How about Richard Roundtree's John Shaft. (I tried to imagine the Samuel L. Jackson Shaft, but for some reason he doesn't come off as a wrestler. On the other hand, Roundtree does.)

Bruce Willis from Die Hard as a face, every match he would get the crap kicked outta him for like 25mins then through sheer luck he'd fluke a win (wouldn't cheat either), would be a terrible character but the WWE marks'd love him
other than that gotta have Snipes as Blade

I think the best Wesley Snipes Carachter in this instance would eb the one from White men Can't Jump. He's Cocky and brash, but also very clever.

thats a good point, but I was thinking if he used the Blade character he would have the Kung-Fu background allowing JR or King to use the "educated feet" line

Mel Gibsons 'Lethal Weapon' character.
Him and Danny Glover could make a tag team similar to Jamie Noble and Farooq.
Emm...maybe not!
Anyway, Mel Gibson - martial arts, wisecracks, psycho attitude. The complete package!

I also reckon Steven Seagal (any movie) in the Royal Rumble would be wicked.
He's just be tossing everyone's ass out the ring, without ever moving his feet!

That guy from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome who refuses to die. The bald guy with the manequin head strapped to his back. No idea what his name is .

Damn, looking on this thread it seems movie villains make the best characters.

Loose Cannon

Well it's not famous, but if anyone has seen Steven King's "Storm of the Century," the character of Linoge would make a great evil character in wrestling.

How about that bleach blonde haired guy in the Where's Waldo shirt who got knocked through the wall from The Punisher? That guy is pretty big and has a good look for a wrestler. Of course, I could be wrong. He could tear his quad from stepping into the ring for all I know.
