Did this with games in the VG forum. Same rules apply, one movie, no ties.

You are allowed ONE runner up or honorable mention.

Got it? Go.

Excellent choice, one of those movies that is just fun to watch each and every time. Any honorable mention?

I never anticipated seeing a film with more excitement then this one and I never will. I had the BIGGEST smile on my face during the opening credits. I was also an extra in this. I was in the crowd during the boxing match. I also loved the message of the film and that being "Life's too short to worry about what other people think of how you lead your life." And that you should never let something like age stop you from being happy.

This was also litreally a dream film come true. :) I've been a Rocky fan my whole life and waited so long for a part VI. I was too young to see the Rocky movies in the theater, so it was great seeing my first Rocky film for the first time on the big screen. I really loved seeing a fresh new modern contemporary Rocky story taking place in the here and now and seeing it with an adult point of view.

Rocky is man I wish I could have become - Nice, but tough, and positive despite everything, but I ended up becoming more like Paulie. Rocky represents a more lighter side of me.

Honorable mention to -

http://images.moviepostershop.com/planet-of-the-apes-movie-poster-1968-1010144156.jpg

I never even saw this film until the summer of 2011 at age 28. I'm glad I saw it as an adult and so late in life because I'm not sure if I would have fully understood the parables in the film as a youngster. The ending caught me way off guard too. If I were to give a deep reason as to why I enjoy this film so much is because the character of Taylor represents a more cynical and darker side of me, and is who I would be if I had balls. I think the film also sums up how I have viewed my time on earth - As an outsider in a world I cannot understand.

I've probably watched Dr. Strangelove more than any other movie so I guess I would say that's my favorite.

I'll put Rushmore as my runner-up since it's the only movie I have ever watched twice in one day.
