What idiot is really going to buy this retarded set?

can get everything in it minus like 5 hours of new bonus features. Will they just get off their butts and release a set with all of the extended cuts because that the only set worth getting.

LOL I am not even going with that, Just that for around 100 dollars you can get them all on Blu-Ray so it is like 250-400 extra for pretty much nothing

It's not Lord of the Rings I don't think there will be extended cuts.

I'd buy a bluray collection of the series if my HDMI cord was working.

Hate how expensive TV show boxsets are, saw a Smallville one at HMV. Wanted like 499.99 for it.

Can't ever see myself paying that price for something ill probably go through once and then watch collect dust on my shelf.

There already are extended cuts.

I paid even less for mine. Closer to 50.

They're selling a premium.

And I do mean a premium, not at a premium. They're selling bonus features that allow them to charge the hardcore a ridiculous price. This isn't uncommon, but it's rare you see something that's this big (8 movies), so we don't see prices quite this high.

I agree. I cant believe the price is that high. I mean hell the complete 400 disc Law and Order box set is 500 dollars
