View Full Version : LOL Evan Bourne

WWE star Evan Bourne wrote the following on his Twitter account: "I hate throw out bad news but I must. I was in an accident Monday and mangled my foot. Sorry to delay the comeback, I'm down but not out!"

Incidentally, Monday was his birthday. Not exactly the way to celebrate.

Oh poor poor Evan...Suspended twice and now this.

Swerve: He'll debut in TNA 90 days after his foot heals.

he might as well go on to TNA because there's no way he will ever get a push for anything now. He's too much of a risk at this point. He's like Jeff Hardy, but without the charisma or ability to be a main eventer. At least in TNA he'll have X title to go after.

As someone who has lost interest in Evan Bourne, I wish him a speedy recovery; however my feelings on not seeing him on tv is simple.

I enjoyed him in the ring, but not gonna deny, after multiple injuries and two drug busts, I don't really miss him anymore.

What the fuck is "LOL" about that foot injury? Whether you like the fact that he smokes pot or enjoy his wrestling, there's nothing funny about what appears to be a pretty brutal injury.

Personally, I've been an Evan Bourne fan ever since he debuted as Evan Bourne. His work has always been crisp, exciting, and innovative. I really hope he gets back on track and flourishes in WWE like it seems he was destined to do, but if not, I hope he finds a solid spot in TNA and makes the most of it.

Evan Bourne still has a place in the WWE. People love him, he's a good worker and he's small enough to bump around and make dudes look like killers. I was looking forward to seeing Lord Tensai squash him on RAW.

Well, for one, he got suspended twice in a short span.

You should probably stick to watching wrestling in the 80s when nobody was doing drugs.

What I don't understand is why he got hammered for fake weed, when people get a slap on the wrist for real weed. I know the DEA made Spice and stuff a "designer drug" and illegal a year or so ago, but I don't see the reason for the discrepancy in punishment.

DLVH84
03-25-2012, 04:17 PM
Because the synthetic weed is much more dangerous than the real thing.

what's the over/under on him being world champion when he goes to TNA?

Mr. Nerfect
03-25-2012, 06:21 PM
Bourne should really know the company policies. The details about the second one weren't known, though. While there would no doubt be heat on him for getting suspended twice, it could be that it was something like not having a prescription on him for medication.

Can we all take a moment to appreciate the irony of a guy whose user name pays homage to two bands who were crazy into drugs talking about how guys who use drugs are bad.

You know Def Leppard's guitarist kinda DIED because of drugs.

His shooting star press is nice to look at, but beyond that he's boring and generic as hell.

Kaval had a unique look and moveset. Should have kept him around and ditched Bourne.

I think he's burned his bridges several times over with TNA.

He left WWE on good terms, so there's a chance he could come back, especially if this cruiserweight show ever gets up and running.

dronepool
03-26-2012, 02:03 AM
Hope he comes back. It sucks that a stand in like the Great Khali is still in WWE but a guy like Kaval got dropped. They could really push him if he has the right matches.

Nah, the internet would never destroy it's FG vid/pic cache, because they know what would happen. My programming which would allow for me to take complete control over FOX programs is enough to ensure that there will always be at least 1 FG pic and or vid on the "interwebz".

No one said he was talented because he kicks hard. I agree that is one of his faults. Idea of wrestling is to make it LOOK like you are hurting the other guy.

Doesn't change the fact that he does some awesome, unique stuff outside of his strikes.
