Macho Man in a sense that Vince had him blacklisted all the way until last year with the rare exception of using footage of his matches on other wrestler dvds.

I think if theres a way to make money with them, Vince would forgive, ultimately. I don't think anyone ever CAN'T come back to WWE, except maybe Jeff Jarrett.

If Vince was willing to let that nutjob Warrior back more than once then I think Jeff Jarrett stands a pretty good chance

Not a wrestler, but I'd list Jim Cornette on this list since he bashes the WWE so much online and I imagine he may have been Hell to deal with when he worked there since he is so old-school, and hot-headed.

You can't ever burn brindges in WWE. If there is money to be made somehow, Vince will always welcome you back with open arms. Didn't Hogan testify in court against him?

Why has Kennedy burnt his bridges?

You could say because of the constant injuries he got while being set up for a major push (and most of those were from sloppy in ring ability). Then he almost injuried Randy in his first match back. Didn't Raven and Stevie sue WWE awhile back? I would say since they both aren't as marketable to a general WWE fan base their pretty much gone.

Side note, has anyone seen Raven reciently? He's put on a lot of weight, his hair is falling out, I guess father time catches up with all of us :(

Chyna b/c of HHH/Stephanie stuff and shes fucked out her tree on drugs, plus she did the pronz.

I think the Hebner bros stole shitloads of merch for yrs and yrs but that seems like a thing that could be forgot about if there was an angle for them to come back.

Maybe Jake Roberts, because he could possibly die while under employment.

pretty much what Hasney said, the "burnt your bridges" concept seems to mostly come from guys talking shit claiming they never want/would go back or guys who are perceived by the internet for to have burnt their bridges. only guys mentioned in here that will definitively have no WWE involvement again would be Benoit obvs and the guys that they'd have no reason to be interested in for anything anyway aka Shane Douglas & Chyna

The idea that the WWE will "take anybody back" is intriguing. There are certainly examples that spit in the face of the "burnt bridge" idea. Bret Hart and Hulk Hogan came back to the WWE after all and I don't think people in 1999 would ever have believed that if you told them. One good example, in my opinion, is Road Dog's surprise entry into the Royal Rumble. TNA used him and Billy Gunn pretty extensively in an anti-WWE angle that was pretty horrific.

That being said, Randy Savage never came back and now never will. I also have to think that someone like Jeff Jarrett would never be allowed in a WWE ring, but I could be wrong. I don't know if I buy the idea that they'd take back just anybody or even big names that had left on particularly bad circumstances. Kurt Angle returning to the WWE makes sense, even now, in terms of money and the fact that Kurt has not been gone long enough to be completely forgotten. That said, look at the way he left, his intense personal problems since leaving the WWE and tell me he seems like a shoe-in for rehiring.

I dunno about Kurt, my memory seems divided on his post-WWE career. I seem to recall moments of him bad-mouthing the WWE and also him praising them.

Last thing, this is not a WWE exclusive thread. I'd be interested in other examples too.

Thoroughly surprised nobody mentioned Konnan.

I also don't agree with so many votes for Savage. I mean, he was obviously in line for some sort of comeback/Legends deal and possibly a HoF induction. I base this entirely on his random pimping of WWE '12. If there were no interest in having him around whatsoever, why would this commercial exist? To me, it seemed like the beginning of a relationship that never got to develop thanks to his untimely demise. Even then, they didn't "half-ass" his tribute like they could have with a silent, blacklined pic with the years at the beginning or end of RAW... he got a full video package.

Savage still had a bridge. Just didn't get a chance to come back over it strutting across to "Pomp & Circumstance"

Bret Hart coming back to WWE was always of case of whether or not Bret wanted to. WWE would have taken him back anytime.

Would you consider Owen Hart part of this list? Granted it wasn't him that burnt the bridge and it's more so because of his wife, but would you consider that or no?

I wouldnt say that bridge was burned, but rather dropped from the top of an arena.

I worked a wrestling event with Raven on the card recently. He's a hell of a guy, hasn't put on "a lot of weight," and still has a full head of hair.

I'm no Ryan Clark, but, that's my news.

Still think the possibility, no matter how remote, exists for him to come back if it were ever good for business.

If Bischoff, of all people, can get hired, then I think Jarrett could too.

But its Jeff Jarrett we are talking here so, bridge burnt.

Don't really think there's anyone, who if they could make Vince money, wouldn't be brought back under the right circumstances, just look at Ventura,Bischoff,Hogan etc.

Ole was mentioned and I think this deserves more discussion. Isn't it true that he's been blacklisted from ever working for Vince after saying something like "I'll never work for you or that bitch wife of yours" during the WWF expansion period?

From the 1st page of this thread?:shifty::p

Raven hasnt burnt his bridges to the point where he wouldnt be brought back though i dont think, maybe not as a wrestler but manager/creative sure, hes featured in a few dvds too. Ventura sued them, and won, and hes been brought back in a couple of times.

Jarrett is not a big enough name and doesn't have much to add for WWE to ever bring him back and ignore their past beef.
