Did not care for the first movie at all.

Perhaps I should give it another chance, though. I think my comedy taste has changed a bit since when I watched it. I used to be a comedy snob.

Talledega Nights: The Legend of Ricky Bobby has the distinction of being the only movie I have ever willingly turned off and stopped watching after I have sat down with the intent to watch it.

Don't think that counts since I haven't seen the whole thing... and it probably wasn't as bad as some movies I stuck out and watched all of. Will have to think.


Honestly, although Anchorman is better, they're both in a really similar vein. I don't see you liking it still if Talledega Nights was recently watched by you.
