Jericho calls Punk's family alcoholics or whatever. It is working pretty good. Jericho gets cheap victory at Mania over Punk. No outside interference, just say something "cheap," that would get the feud more heat. Like he jabs Punk with a syringe or something.
Jericho says he defeated The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin on the same night to become the first undisputed champion, and that the title he now has proves that he is once again the undisputed champion. Punk could never do what Jericho has done, that's why Jericho is the best in the world.
Punk is sort of fucked in the head by this because he can't prove that he can. So he harasses Rock and Austin for matches, finally getting them, and going over both of them. Finally gets his shot at Jericho, gets his title back, with confetti and dudes doing the double point at him.
Make it last a while.
Then he beats John Cena in a "Buried Alive IRL" match.
Yeah!

tbh, I love that idea..... Rock at Summerslam, then Austin at Mania 29.... then Jericho at 30..... in the meantime, Jericho could lose the title over the 2 year time frame......
I thought this said CM Punk torch piss and though cm punk took a piss test or something
I think Jericho needs to be holding some kind of torch in order to be able to pass it http://www.tpww.net/forums/images/icons/icon12.gif

jericho doesnt look like the guy who would be on roids or drugs tho
what's your point
So he wouldnt need a torch to pass, he would pass the fair way.

The planet of the apes!

:p
Seems Iop has a totally different understanding of the word "torch" to everybody else...
you can exchange the word "torch" for "life", "common sense", "people" and pretty much everything else in the dictionary and that statement stays equally as accurate

Punk doesn't draw ratings. He should go back to ROH with the rest of the Taco Bell employees.

I think Punk will win at Mania, which will then cause Jericho to become even more desperate to get into Punk's head, by going to further lengths.
So that leaves the door open for Jericho to use the Punk angle from ROH, where he's tied in the ropes, and Jericho would pour beer down his throat.
Sets up a pretty heated Chicago Street Fight for the WWE title at Extreme Rules :y:

Eh, Jericho has a history with torches being passed. It would end up something like this:

Punk beating rock and austin would assist in the torch handling process as well because the rock and stone cold steve austin are torch bearers like from the lord of the rings the ringbearers except with torches csl

This beer-pouring thing seems possible and bad-ass, a nice segue into an Austin feud too (as if one were needed)

Austin is ready to job for Punk, I would count on it happening, he makes no bones about wanting to... The timing of it all has to be right though. Austin is not a guy that will phone in something shitty just to be there.

Except for the Condemned.
I voted no because I don't think Punk should lose at WrestleMania after the awesome year he's had. It would undermine all of the work he did to lose on the grandest stage of them all
CM Punk and Jericho tear the house down and Punk holds the WWE title over his head and screams best in the world. Punk and Jericho ruin the Once in a Lifetime match between the Rock and John Cena.

Condemned was awful, I agree.
The reason I started thinking about this is that it looks like the WWE is now bringing out the kitchen sink in an attempt to push CM Punk. First they gave him Cena, twice. The moment that really seems to stick out to me was the first win, when Punk was still a heel. At that time, he was also coming off of a very long heel jobbing streak. His job was clearly just to put over as much talent as he could (for the most part). There was also a lot of drama about his contract, etc., so when he beat him there, it became pretty clear what their intentions were with him.
I'm one of the people that think they could have used the momentum he had a bit more at the time, something that has already been talked about. I have to say that the match he had with John Cena at MITB is the best match I've seen in years. If they could come up with more things like that, the talent would really benefit in general.
However they book this thing, Punk is getting a nice rub. It's all storyline-ish stuff, as opposed to The Rock and Cena's feud, which they're pushing as something personal and really playing up any "real" animosity between the two. The loser is going to have some damage done to them, unless one of them turns mega heel. Punk and Jericho would be fine either way. There's a heel.
I think he would ultimately win the Jericho feud, but I think this thing has a lot of matches in it. It's nice to see that for a change. Tired of guys just randomly appearing, doing their finisher on some dude for no reason and calling it a storyline.
I'm just being a mark and thinking of how they could keep the momentum going. They're clearly pushing this guy as their next top guy. Punk and Austin are sort of teasing a match, and it seems like there's a lot of substance to the possibility of it happening sometime in the future.
I have to say, as one of the jaded attitude era fans that simply thinks wrestling isn't as good as it was a while back, I'm all for a Punk and Austin match. I'm all for a Punk and Rock match. Punk is just the guy that is actually worth jobbing these two out.
