Punk vs Jericho no doubt
Taker vs HHH made me mark out after a looooooooong time, it was the best of the night.

Have to my props to Undertaker/Triple H it was better than last years effort also Punk/Jericho and Rock/Cena are both imho a close 2nd for different reasons.

Pretty much this. As much as I loved seeing The Rock again, HHH/Taker had much better story telling.

Marked out like crazy for Trips/Taker.
Couldn't get into Rock/Cena at all.

Yep, Taker/HHH was just simply amazing, and I even loved last years match, but this one was even better. Definitely match of the night, and so far, MOTY for me. Although, given the deep history over the years with all three men, there was SO much story for them to tell with that match. The match and storyline almost writes itself.
As much of a Rock mark I am, I have to admit that I too am torn between Rock/Cena and Punk/Jericho for 2nd favorite match, each for different reasons. I was legit shocked and surprised (in a good way) though that Rock went over Cena cleanly, as I was expecting some type of dusty finish or a clean Cena win.

2 Horse race for me. Punk/Jericho and HHH/Taker but gonna go with Punk just because the end just was more unpredictable going in. Both matches were fantastic though.
I really want to give Jericho and Punk their props on a great match, but the more I think about it, the more I'm leaning toward HHH and Taker

Triple H/Undertaker is it for me. Jericho/Punk is #2 by a razorthin margin. Rock/Cena #3 by a few lengths.
HHH/Taker just had damn near everything. It had the violence of a passionate feud inside the ultimate gimmick match, the emotion and storytelling of a compelling drama, the aura of the "big fight", and the unpredictability to keep you on the edge of your seat in spite of the inevitable. The only thing the match didn't have was awesome chain wrestling, and Punk/Jericho made up for that in their match.

The only negative about this WrestleMania were the ads and horrible skits (barring the Deadliest Catch skit which was fucking hilarious). Funkasaurus would have been good filler if they wouldn't have done the mini-concert entrances for Rock/Cena.

I enjoyed Jericho/Punk more than Taker/HHH
felt more suspenseful because I did not know who was winning
Trips/Taker and its not even close.
Although Danielson losing was

Triple H/Taker easily.
Trips/Taker and its not even close.
yah
was one of the most well executed professional wrestling matches I've ever seen. I don't remember the last time/if I've ever watched a match in such awe/known from such an early point in a match just how great it was. As close as you'll get to 3 perfect "sports entertainment" performances. I'd put money on nobody topping that for the rest of this year, no matter how many excellent "wrestling matches" there are, this was so much more
I literally jumped off my seat when Kane won. The "Hell in a Cell" match was special and I doubt if we are ever going to see anything similar to it in the future.

Triple H vs Undertaker is the best match of the night in my opinion. The sheer brutality of the match, with the emotional drama with HHH screaming at HBK to ring the bell before he ends it.
Also loved the show of respect at the end with HBK helping Undertaker to his feet then both of them helping HHH to the back. That was a great moment

Unlike last year, I got into HHH/Taker big time, and greatly enjoyed it.
Punk/Jericho comes in second place. I feel like that match started off a bit too slow, and did not care for the DQ angle. Once they began to ignore it, everything was fine.

Taker vs Triple H.
Going into Mania, I was more hyped and thought Punk vs Jericho would easily be the best match but Taker vs Triple H was really amazing.
Punk vs Jericho delivered a great match as it was expected.

HHH/Taker III was better than I thought it could have ever been. Great drama, hard hitting, brutal shots, great moves, hardway blood... loved it. ***** classic

Honestly thought that the dialogue from the Cell match took away from the magic. That said, it was still amazing.
For me though, match of the night was CM Punk VS. Jericho. The final minutes of the match were just fantastic.

Michaels actually added to HIAC nicely. You can always worry about inserting third parties into matches, but in this case, it made perfect sense and added to everything.

Triple H and Taker were in their top form last night, fucking loved that match.
Only Undertaker and Triple H could get away with hitting each other with chairs for 30 minutes and make it a classic.
Still, I voted for Punk vs Jericho because that was an amazing wrestling match. And that's what it says on the marquee.

Taker/HHH was out of this world. For two guys who are definitely past it to put on a match like that is incredible.
Just amazing.
Punk/Jericho was great from a technical standpoint, but the emotions running through Taker/HHH makes it the winner for me.

It just seemed a little too wooden. A little too "we are going to act now".

Punk and Jericho. Two of my favourites in the WWE title match at Wrestlemania.
The Hell in a Cell was awesome though, and I have no problems with it getting the most votes.

Best as far as excitement was no doubt HHH vs Taker. Best as far as a good wrestling match was Punk/Jericho.
Gotta go with Taker and HHH overall because after the SCM/Pedigree combo, I actually thought for a second that the streak was over.

I really wanted to say Punk/Jericho, but Taker/HHH took me for a ride that I haven't been on in a looooooooooong time. Great stuff.
I'm gonna be really unpopular saying this, but I think that HIAC match is extremely overrated. Yes, it was good, but was it GREAT? I don't think it was better than Taker's matches against HBK - I don't even think it's that much better than Taker and Triple H's match at X7.
There was a lot of overblown melodrama in the ring. There was lots of "acting." A lot of it felt very contrived to me. I would have liked a more straight forward match instead of the crap with all the chair shots and HBK's "struggling referee" stuff. It didn't feel dramatic to me - it felt forced and fake. And I guess for me the main thing was that at no point did I think Undertaker was going to lose. Not even after the SCM/Pedigree combo.
Whatever. To each their own.

It's a real shame when professional wrestling feels over-dramatic and fake, isn't it?

Personally i'd rate it better than Taker vs HBK @ WM26 but i'd have to agree that it doesn't hold a candle to WM25's stellar match.

I think Triple H's matches with Undertaker were better than Shawn's.
It's a real shame when professional wrestling feels over-dramatic and fake, isn't it?
Austin vs Bret Hart was an incredible match, and it wasn't over-dramatic or "fake" feeling. They put on a great match that told a story, whereas I felt that Undertaker, Triple H and HBK told a story that just happened to be a match. I know that's really abstract, but that's how I feel about the match, and I've watched it a few times since WrestleMania.
And CSL, I love films and TV when they are done right. Chris Nolan took a comic-book story of a billionaire who dresses up like a bat to fight crime and made it into a cinematic masterpiece. Joel Schumaucher took the same story and turned it into Batman & Robin. It's all in the presentation.
and arguably the best character in those Christopher Nolan Batman films was Heath Ledger's Joker, who was quite ridiculous and over the top in his look, mannerisms, actions and story arc. It's all about suspending your disbelief.
