What's wrong with it? I'd love to hear some opinions on it, because I've seen about zero people talk about it.

Hmm, maybe not. Every review I'd seen of it had been really negative, but general consensus seems to be that it's actually alright.

I still think it's a crappy direction to go in with the franchise though.

I saw about a minute of game play a couple weeks ago, and it looked pretty average. I saw the thing where you go into people's minds or whatever, but that looked really scripted.

Honestly, I saw a few reviews that basically did the "they changed it now it sucks" route. Though to be fair, these reviews were linked by people who had a reason to be negative, so there is a level of confirmation bias there.
