Was watching one of the Legends of wrestling roundtables and Flair tore into Hall & Nash saying neither guy could work, Nash was a big guy who was in the right place at the right time and Hall just happened to be there the night HBK wrestled a ladder, is there actually heat there?
The only thing i can think of is the NWO mocking the Horsemen after Arn retired.
yah, he really holds the nWo stuff against them (not just The Horseman parody) claims it was the worst faction of all time etc. Still hasn't gotten over them being on top for so long basically with him playing second fiddle, just his bruised ego

Yeah, the only thing i could think of was the nWo running Nitro, just he never really bashed Hogan but interrupted whoever was talking to lay into Hall & Nash.

I think Flair is dead wrong when it comes to Hall.
Jim Ross, JJ, Bischoff, Michael Hayes... the list goes on... they all say Hall had and has a great mind for the business and knows how to put on a great match, when he's clear.
As for Nash... while he may have been limited because of his knees, and his size, it didn't take away from anything. He was still a major player...
As much as I respect Ric Flair and consider him as one of the best, he seems like a guy who can't let personal things go. I'm sure in WCW Hall and Nash pissed him off backstage, and that is where his words come from.

Oh and I'll post this quote from Nash.
"I GOT THE COOLER OUT OF ARN'S CAR!"

We all know Flair was in the wrong there though.
Flair's like the most insecure person in the history of wrestling and this is how that comes out sometimes. still the man

I wonder if in 25 years we will find out that like Kofi Kingston had legit heat with like random mid carders.
Seems like the guys from the 80s and 90s are all a bit insecure and crazy, probably from worrying about their spot and shit. And all the politicking. Seems like the Newer guys wont have that arise.

I recently watched the WWE's Flair video on Netflix. It definitely was at odds at how I previously viewed the guy. From what I saw, if it wasn't merely white-washing, it seems like Flair would have had more issue with their relationship with Bischoff and probably Nash's stint as booker.
I don't recall Hall having that many "good" matches when he came to WCW. I imagine his attitude didn't put him over with Flair during that period of time.
If the Flair vid is to be taken as truth, it definitely feels like Flair would be angry about the way WCW buried wrestlers. Again, I don't know if I should take it with a grain of salt, but it was definitely interesting to me as someone who thought of Flair was "great in the 70s/80s" and then coasting on his past for the rest of his career. (I never saw Flair before he went to WWE or even remember Flair while he was wrestling in the WWE).

The more stuff i see with/about Flair the more it looks like CSL was spot on, upset he wasn't main eventing anymore. Saw a Nash shoot interview last week or so and he said he cries more often than Vader over that shit.
Hall did have some really good matches in WCW and he was always over as far as i can remember. Flair must have been in his late 40s/early 50s by then so i never understood why he felt underutilized at that point the way he seems to come across as feeling in interviews.

Being the first 4 wins of Hogan and Savage respectively upon both men coming into WCW might have something to do with it.
I just don't know which accounts have any legitimacy here.

I think they all have some legitimacy but probably all are at least 50% bullshit to suit themselves. Except Scott Steiner obviously.
