To start this off I'm going to loosely quote an article sascha posted about Andy Kaufman from CNN.com
" pro wrestling is both real and not real... and Andy Kaufman rode that line his entire career"
This is what wwe has been basing the past year of storylines around. While I doubt anyone in the booking room brought this up specifically, they have had me buy into and believe in angles more than possibly ever.
When watching japenese or Indy stuff I often times use a different standard.
The wrestling in wwe has gotten better as an added bonus. But from here in out I'm watching wwe as a mark unless something just straight upinsults my intelligence in a noncomedic way.
I think its beautiful to see both layers, but I find specifically when it comes to wwe sustainiing disbelief is the way to go.
