I think WWE thinks since last week was an amazing show lets just do the same thing this week. The Tensei match. Jericho pouring stuff on Punk. Show ending with Brock F5ing Cena. I dunno was a downer this week. Maybe last week was such a high and I'm comparing to that but was just meh for me tonight

LMAO @ Brock by default being the biggest face when they tried to make the crowd boo him. It seems like since this past summer, the boos are growing louder and louder for Cena, and I love it.

Kharma might not be back for awhile. She is trying to deal with something that is extremely sensitive and damaging mentally and physically.

Yeah, if Kharma EVER comes back to wrestle in any federation she will have my unwaivering respect...

I agree with the other poster saying that the crowd was part of the excitement... Come to Charleston, SC. I assure you that we know our role well...

They seemed incredibly lazy since you said that. Hell, the endless segment of people talking about the WM match. Just complete filler with the writers having nothing to talk about.

No Daniel Bryan, further evidence the WWE is trying to kill the fan made face push for him.

No matches for midcard guys like Swagger, Ziggler, Kofi etc.

I know we'll never get the awesomeness of last week againf or a very very long time. However, they could have tried to at least capitalize on it.

It went "back to normal" this week, but they still had the "Let's Go Cena!/Cena Sucks!" dueling chant as well as the deep boos being drowned out by high-pitched cheers we've come to know and love at WWE live events.

Bryan is on SmackDown. He doesn't HAVE to appear on Raw. His appearance last week on Raw was mostly because it was the first Raw after WrestleMania.

Pretty much everyone on the WrestleMania card, always appear on the first Raw after WrestleMania.

Also, Swagger and Ziggler had a match tonight, against Santino and Brodus.

Didn't hear so much of the Cena sucks! chant honestly. Felt like Cena had the crowd after that slap in the face. People seemed to actually give a fuck. People don't want to boo Brock yet, but WWE creative has made that all but impossible with Johnny Ace as best friend.

Thought Cena and Otunga even had a good match.

I love Brock Lesnar. The start with him and John Cena was crazy. Segment was fantastic and memorable with Cena bleeding, Cena in the back with John Laurinaitis and Lesnar’s promo were terrific, and the ending was good. So good. The slap. The punch. The blood. Just terrific stuff.

Brodus Clay/Santino Marella vs. Dolph Ziggler/Jack Swagger was good.

Everything with the Three Stooges was awful.

Lord Tensai needs a feud so he’s not just met with apathy.

The stuff with Chris Jericho was good, although it went on a bit longer than needed.

8/10

I felt the segment last week with Jericho and Punk went on longer than needed also, but I don't know if they aren't doing that so it makes you almost uncomfortable watching Jericho do this stuff to Punk.

No Daniel Bryan? NO! NO! NO!

I guess there is no debate on who is the heel in the John Cena/Brock Lesnar feud or is there? WWFFan/JamesSteel? Thoughts? Keep it to only a few pages this time. :D

He's always had that pitch. He has a natural charisma, but his delivery of promos isn't the smoothest. He was pretty good by the end of his 1st run in WWE, but Heyman was fucking amazing with him. Apparently, he and Heyman are BFFs so Brock could talk him into it.

Lesnar siding with Johnny Ace was probably the only way to get a boo out of the crowd. Pretty good move.

But I've just thought. The Lesnar/Cena match at Extreme Rules might become a First Blood Match.

If it does, I'd think one of two things....

* Either Lesnar's punch to Cena's mouth was supposed to happen, to give reason for the match being a First Blood Match.

* Or the punch wasn't supposed to happen, but the team backstage made it a First Blood Match due to the reaction Cena bleeding got.

International crowd next week (London, England) so hopefully will be better than the lame D.C crowd.
No Brock next week either as I assume with his limited contract he won't make the overseas trip.

A few weeks ago I was really excited to go to Raw, but with how they're clearly trying to quell the fan uprising for D-Bryan, and the fact we will have no Brock, Rock (knew that already) i'm getting a bit "meh" about the show.
Seems Smackdown! gets NXT and Superstars taping, so I hope we get at least a few pre or post Raw dark matches.

Oh and we get Punk vs Henry for the 3rd week running, albeit with No DQ/Countout.

Did TNA trademark 'War Machine' when Rhino was under contract or is that just a stupid question?

Brock's new direction is perfect. Conquer WWE, conquer UFC, and return home to take your rightful place atop the company you owned from 2002 through 2004. It should garner heat but other than mentionin Mr. Excitement the crowd was loving Brock. Loved his expression before dropping Cena with the F5.

2nd week and Lord Tensai doesn't pin his opponent.. Yep, definitely a Mortal Kombat-ish Fatality ending. :P

Does this help? as for Lesnar calling himself War Machine, I think I prefer when Cole called him The Freak Beast and Anomaly!!

Don't know if the comparison has been made, but that pull apart definitely had that Tyson and Austin feel to it. Obviously not as big, but that was such a great angle. And it's simple.

Lock Jaw
04-11-2012, 04:54 PM
I hate when the roster is involved in the "pull apart" bit.

Like, why would any of the heels care? Then you have dudes who are supposed to hate each other... like Daniel Bryan and Sheamus, working together side by side.

VSG
04-11-2012, 05:16 PM
To be fair I think they had faces holding back Cena and heels holding back Brock. I may be wrong but that's how it looked on tv.

Lock Jaw
04-11-2012, 05:19 PM
Nah, distinctly noticed Alberto Del Rio holding Cena back and was like "pffft, why is he sullying his aristocratic hands with this? Plus he'd find it funny if Cena was brutalized."
