I just dont like that it seems like half the time we see him, he is running with his weird motions to clear heels out of the ring. SO OVERDONE.

He was their best heel :(

The Sheamus character doesn't even make sense as a face, he runs around kicking guys in the face for no reason then calls them bullies who remind him of the time a relative was anally penetrated. Not sure why a crowd would get behind such a man.

I hate him now. WWE just has it all wrong when it comes to promoting effective heel's and babyfaces.

When you word it like that, it sounds like a pretty awesome gimmick.

MoFo, I've felt like that for a while, myself.

I can now say that I really don't care about Sheamus anymore. Before, I was indifferent, but now, I just don't care about him at all.

He's pretty boring and repetitive, and I'm sick of hearing his stories about his "family". I really don't care about his "Uncle Paddy", "Cousin O'Farley" or "Great Grandfather Fargus" or whoever else he mentions. It seems like everything and anything reminds him of a "family member" and it always ends with him saying the word "Arse".

Also, his stories of Ireland are annoying too.

Good points all but lucky for the WWE writers their target audience isnt that sophisticated so they don't really have to make that big an effort all they need to know is "Sheamus mad at bad man Sheamus crush!"

I think a guy like Cody Rhodes would actually work wonders with such a gimmick.

No complaints from me. I've enjoyed Sheamus as a face, and his feud with Daniel Bryan has been really good.

Pretty much agree with Mofo. Sheamus is my fav, but I need to see more bad ass from him

He was on his way to be the next sick evil bastard like Triple H and it appears Jericho has swooped in and stolen that from him again.

The crowd turned him. WWE didn't. They just ran with it.

Mark Henry: Is there anybody here who can beat me?

(Sheamus comes out)

Sheamus: Sure fella. I'll take you on.

Face Turn. WWE turned him. The fans went along with it.

Yeah, I wish they would let him be the badass in the ring, "friendly monster" outside of it. WWE always has to make guys look weaker when they turn face. It's a tired cliche.

I do love when he first turned face and he'd be talking to someone like Santino and act like he was going to destroy him and then he'd just tap him on the shoulder, smile and go "I'm just kiddin' ya, fella..."

I'd be more pissed about this if I watched Smackdown regularly, but I am pissed.

He was getting insane pops at Money in the Bank, whilst still a heel. Especially when he destroyed Sin Cara.

He can be a great face or a great heel. WWE just can't book characters worth a shit so it's moot.

During the Nexus vs WWE angle, the Nexus cornered Sheamus in the back on an episode of Raw and he got scared and ran off yelling for Cena to help him.

I think its more of a reaction to what happened to Orton getting injured late last year and the potential of him not being fully healed by Mania which meant Sheamus got a rushed push to replace Orton as the top super face of Smackdown.

Before the Rumble, Sheamus was more of in a holding or waiting position ever since turning face and probably more likely to go after Rhodes IC title than a World title for Mania.

I couldn't give a fuck about his Irish heritage either, but the Americans eat up anything to do with Ireland, so I'm hardly surprised that his character has gone this way.

He was getting insane pops at Money in the Bank, whilst still a heel. Especially when he destroyed Sin Cara.

That was just because it was an awesome spot. Had nothing to do with him being a heel or a face.

Plus the smark crowd knew Sin Cara was a douchebag and had got in trouble. It was like a "na na na na" moment for Sin Cara.

I seem to remember him getting fairly loud chants before that spot. I could be wrong though, my memory is pretty terrible when it comes to stuff in wrestling.

He was getting small cheers, but hardly enough to really force a turn. It did seem pretty natural when it happened.

But yeah, Sheamus is the goods. For a man his size, he can pretty much do it all. Even talking and promotional appearances and stuff. His current character is ridiculously bland, though. Daniel Bryan's character as a whole is a lot more interesting than Sheamus' current persona. I'm sorta curious to see Sheamus work with Del Rio, though.
