It's either going to be John Cena vs. Johnny Ace or the much more deserving wrestling match in CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan. If they make the call to have Laurinaitis main event a PPV over the WWE Champion, then there is something seriously wrong with the booking committee.

Punk and Bryan have proven that they can deliver in a big way. I really hope WWE gives them the main event spot and lets them tear the house down. Now is the time to make new legendary superstars like Bret Hart and HBK. If anyone can be that for this generation of wrestlers it's Punk and Bryan.

Cena.

As much as I'm looking forward to Punk/Bryan, it very much feels like a "OH SHIT ONLY 3 WEEKS TO A PPV NO TIME TO BUILD" match whereas Cena/Ace has kind of been simmering for a while.

If Punk/Bryan have a rematch next month or whenever, they can probably main it then.

Definitely Cena/Ace here. Not that I agree with the decision, but it's really not a wrong one.

Going with Punk and Bryan. Will definitely be the better wrestling match, but I also don't wanna see the WWE Championship get shafted from the main event spot three PPV's in a row.

The bright side to Cena vs. Ace main eventing is that when the bad buyrate comes in, Bryan and Punk can't be held (solely) responsible. :shifty:

To be honest, neither really feels like a headliner, though. It wouldn't completely surprise me if they even had the World Heavyweight Title match headline.

Pretty sure it will have been way more than three in a row

And yeah, it's pretty much a lock that Cena vs Laurinaitis will be headlining. It's the selling point of the show.

It may actually help out Cena AND Punk more to have Punk vs Bryan headline but I highly doubt it will happen.

From a storyline standpoint, Cena will main event.

Going with the fatal four way match.

This PPV is going to have a low buy rate bc I feel the overall work rate has been lacking lately. Plus Jap Albert sucks and is ruining rasslin. Thank you.

Yeah, Rumble, Elimination Chamber, Mania, Extreme Rules then Over The Limit. TLC was the last PPV to be headlined by a WWE Title match.

I honestly wouldnt be surprised to see Punk vs Bryan early, then Cena/Ace and final match of the fatal 4 way.

I think we're going to see Cena/Johnny main event. Not that it should, but it probably will.

For all of 2012 there has not been a title match in the main event. With Johnny vs Cena this month and Brock vs HHH next month. WWE is looking to continue the title-less mainevent trend for the whole year ending at Armageddon with the highly anticipated Lesnar vs Seacrest first blood match.

Punk vs. Bryan.

Punk vs Bryan will be the better wrestling match but it's not just about th einring action. There's no established WWE story to Punk/Bryan. The fued is thrown together and they have a week to make it more "personal".

Cena v Johnny is the bigger story and will have a greater "casual" appreciation. There's also a chance that Lesnar or someone else could get involved.

As much as I'm looking forward to Bryan/Punk, I'd go with Cena/Johnny as the main.

Someone is going to return for the John vs John match, prob Christian.

Cena vs Laurinaitis

Punk vs Bryan will be the better match but their feud is mostly revolving around the quality of their matches while Cena vs Laurinaitis isn't dependent on a match to continue their feud.

If Christian came back at the over the limit, I'd love to see him cost Punk the title.

Wait, why do two people in this feud think the fatal four way might actually main event the PPV?

There is no chance of that happening.

Cena vs Ace would probably Main Event only if they have a cliffhanger or some superstar returning, I'd go with Punk VS Bryan honestly

The last time the WWE Title was in a PPV main event was December 18, 2011...TLC. I think we are due for a WWE Title Main Event.

Sadly it'll almost certainly be Cena vs Ace in the main event.

John Laryngitis doesn't deserve a main event.

The main event is going to be Ryback vs THREE indy wrestlers. How will Ryback overcome those odds?
