Can be for whatever reason, such as you liked them but they were not over enough (Kurrgan), they are not the WWE fit for a hall of fame inductee (New Jack), or they brought disrepute to wrestling (Chris Benoit).

Owen Hart, Macho Man, and the British Bulldog are the only names that come to mind right now. Owen and Bulldog will never be in because of how their family feels, and Macho Man won't because of all the inside heat that supposely exists between Macho Man and McMahon.

Regal. He should have had more TV time. Read his autobiography, pretty interesting stuff, one of the better books out there.

I actually think Regal will make it into the Hall Of Fame eventually.
Only after The British Bulldog though.

Definitely Owen and Macho. I personally would like to see Scott Hall make it, but I guess we'll have to wait until he cleans up or he dies.

Think the issue with Savage is his family now, they want inducted as a group or no one goes in supposedly. Think Benoit is the only definite no chance of induction ever though.
Think Bischoff and Cornette should both be in,pretty unlikely as it stands now. Obviously the Headbangers should be,it makes a mockery of the entire HOF that they don't have their own wing let alone arent inducted yet.

I really don't see Owen going in as long as Martha is alive.
Or his kids grow up, become adults, and stand up to her and go like "My dad's legacy is important, he's going in to the HOF".

I think all of these guys will wind up going in eventually, Scott probably with Rick, Bulldog and Dynamite together maybeeee. Struggling to think of anybody off the top of my head that I want to see go in/"deserves" to go in but might not, Bam Bam maybe

Also, Mick Foley should be in. Not to hate on anyone, but there's no reason why Edge should've gone in before Mick.
they needed a "headliner" for this year, Edge is probably the bigger star, fresh off retirement, fresh in people's memories, Foley is still semi-active etc. He'll definitely go in at some point.

I totally understand. Just that when we saw Mick and Edge feud in the 2000's, who would've thought that the young villain would go in before the loveable hardcore legend?
Michael Hayes should be in by now but at this point, it's pretty much a running joke/rib on him that he's not. He'll go in with the Freebirds at some point.

Bruno Sammartino since he's really the last big pre-Hogan star not inducted yet but played a huge part in WWE's history. There are other big names not inducted yet but none at Sammartino's level.
Lesnar mostly due to the way he left and only was with the company for 2-3 years but he was on pace to potentially be in the Hogan/Austin level in stardom as a wrestler.

Also, I'd love for Scott Hall to go in. Let's be realistic, we don't know how long we're going to have him with us (though I hope it's many, many more years). He's lived a difficult life, a lot of ups and downs, has had to deal with many demons. He's one of my all-time favorites, so I'd love for him to have that one special night where he goes in the HOF, where he receives a standing ovation, where he feels love from the fans and his peers. A lot of people deserve to be in the HOF, but no wrestler has ever needed it as much as Scott. And who knows what a special night like that can do for him?

Gotta agree with the meatball in saying that Bruno Sammartino definately deserves to be in there Should have n probably would have IMO if things were different.I also agree on the ultimate warrior as well as Owen Hart.As far as Paul Heyman, yes ,when n if he retires...

Bruno refused the Hall of Fame. He would be in there if he wanted to be.
Mad random examples in your opener Kurrgan and New Jack. They both sucked donkey dick. New Jack is a disgrace to the sport of professional wrestling. That's why they aren't in the HOF.
I'm not sure if Jacques Rougeau will ever make the Hall of Fame but he and his brother Raymond both deserve it. Maybe include Pierre Ouellete in there with them as well. He's Maryse's uncle in case you didn't know.
Foley will be a main event inductee either at WM29 in New Jersey (close to Long Island) or maybe WM30 if it's in MSG. Well, that is if Mick doesn't do anything to piss of McMahon again in the next months or so.

Bruno refuses to go in the HOF. Originally it was because he was in the bandwagon of "wrestling is too sleazy, the whole family can no longer watch the shows or go to the live events because it's not appropriate for children, it's too violent, the current product is a disgrace".
Not sure what his reasoning is now.

How the fuck is Bam Bam Bigelow not in the hall of fame yet?
SlickyTrickyDamon
05-12-2012, 02:19 AM
Might be trying to limit drug related-death inductions in the present climate. Certainly he deserves to be in there. He was a main event of a WrestleMania and had a long and awesome career.

I can't comprehend how Curt Hennig is in, yet Davey Boy and Rick Rude are not.

I can't see Heyman go in, Lesnar is a defo potential Hall of Famer unless he buggers off again.
With Michael Hayes, imo he was only over as part of the Freebirds not as himself.
Would love to see Regal in the Hall of Fame.

Lesnar's career was way too short and basically became replaceable with Cena almost from the moment he left. Same with his record as youngest champion was quickly replaced the moment the WWE gave Orton a quick push as champion.
Hm being back on WWE tv is related more to the resurgence UFC gave to his name value than Vince/WWE randomly bringing him back like with the Rock.
Heyman was a tougher choice and I felt he wouldn't go alone as a pick or even as a marquee type name. I can see Heyman being a presenter for HoF nominees like potentially Taz or a surprise Lesnar choice well before him actually being inducted into the WWE hall.

If they inducted the 4 Horsemen then the nWo should go in. Hogan, Hall and Nash and Bischoff but that ain't gonna happen

agreed, but When I saw this The first thing I thought was Owen. His wife is totally selfish for keeping him out. I understand being mad at vince, but shes basically hurting his legacy and his fans at this point.

I hope WWE inducts Randy Savage soon, I thought it would've been this year because of his death, but of course it didn't happen.
I've read and heard that Randy had said that if he was ever contacted by WWE to go into the HOF he didn't want to go in alone, he wanted his father and brother to be inducted along with him, "The Poffo Family". I don't know if WWE would ever do that.

I actually disagree with those who say Benoit. I think over time WWE will realize that yes, he did a horrible thing, but a) Everybody makes mistakes, and b) It's not about your personal life outside the ring and away from the company, it's about how big of a star someone was and their career.

I don't see, regardless of time, WWE inducting Benoit. I don't think it'd be possible to induct him and leave out the tiny fact that he ended his career by going bat-shit crazy and offing his family, then himself. While I think career-wise he was worthy, there would be too much negativity to come their way. He not only committed suicide, but career suicide as well. I was a huge Benoit fan, and hate the way he chose to go out, but bottom line is the Crossface is not intended for your wife and kids.
