View Full Version : TNA should hire Nick Dinsmore to work with Garett Bischoff

Nick Dinsmore has worked with some of the top stars in professional wrestling before, and is certainly a crisp in-ring performer who knows how to work numerous different styles and get people emotionally invested into his matches. At 36 years of age and with 15 years in the business, Dinsmore (who helped ready John Cena and Randy Orton early in their careers) is more ready than ever to help groom guys and get help them progress as both wrestlers and characters.

Bring Nick Dinsmore in as the younger brother of Eugene Dinsmore -- who was the kayfabe nephew of Eric Bischoff, remember? With Garett Bischoff forcing his father out of TNA, Eric needs someone he can send into the company to fight for him and make his son's life miserable. Who better than Garett's own older cousin?

Garett Bischoff needs a lot of polish before he is ready to be the star that TNA clearly wants him to be, but Dinsmore would be a fine choice to get Garett there more quickly than a lot of others would. Plus, there's a storyline built in to it.

that's not a terrible idea at all, but it makes sense, thus it will never see the light of day in TNA..... they'll have Brooke Hogan giving him lessons before that happens....

I think it would benefit TNA to hire a few older stars that can work with younger talent in OVW. Rob Conway and Doug Basham both come to mind. Finlay is probably still too loyal to the WWE, but if they could get him to work in OVW with the younger guys, that would be phenomenal.

Yeah. Rip Rogers was OVW Champion in their era, and now Rogers is a trainer for OVW. Maybe they could get Mike Bell, who runs his own wrestling school and is perhaps most famous for botching a hiptoss on Perry Saturn, causing Saturn to shoot on Bell and be punished with the "Moppy" gimmick.

The Moppy gimmick was before the Bell incident.....

no. Last I saw, he was working with guys like Kurt Angle, superior to Dinsmore in pretty much every regard. Being Bischoff's son, it's not like he has a limited choice of guys he can go to for advice/work with etc. It's not like the territories where a guy would come through and spend the next 6 months jobbing to a vet 6 nights a week while taking in as much as possible. Under this scenario, it'd be what, a match or two a week for a month or two? That's nothing. And I'm not sure why you'd think guys like him, Doug Basham and Rob Conway have so much offer along those lines when they haven't really done that much/there are a million guys knocking around with the same kind of "credentials" and a bunch of them already work for TNA.
