So JBL has tweeted that it is HIGHLY LIKELY that we will see him return to WWE, after they have decided to sponsor him in climbing the largest mountains in the world, for charity, for kids in Bermuda.

So how awesome is that for you? Do you ever watch Jibble's speeches on politics and the state of the world on Youtube? (he's a really charismatic progressive guy and very enjoyable to listen too)

He seem's to have hit a stride and perhaps could fit into WWE these days as a well seasoned veteran, something WWE is lacking in the absence of guys like Finlay, Orton, or Jericho.

Of course JBL is an awesome heel, great to hate, but I could see him turning face and bringing something new to his legacy and WWE by going against Johnny Ace and his team of monsters. He could end up being an opposite to Ace as a babyface looking to turn things around for Raw/Smackdown...

So how would JBL fit into the current scene?

as a commentator/mouth piece

No wrestle or authority figure CSL?

His wrestling has never been impressive, but he's dynamite on the stick and a very good commentator. Him and Booker T behind the same table might make my head explode...in a good way, though.

Manager or as a commentator similar to Booker T.

Manager or authority figure. Feel like he's too bland in the ring to wrestle and too good on the mic to commentate.

I enjoyed him in the ring. However, I think those days are done for him.

So I would enjoy him being a heel manager, or authority figure.

Gotta disagree. One of the things he was incredible at when he was a commentator was building up guys just via commentary. That's something WWE could sorely use at this point after the recent history of Cole burying guys.

I don't know how much interest he'd have in coming back to wrestle. Authority figure absolutely, he could even "buy" Smackdown or something with all the money his character has

Rather have him come in as a manager than Flair honestly or as a replacement for Lawler.

Yeah that seems the most likely actually.

He will come out and hob knob with Alberto at the big anniversary, then stone cold will come give them both stunners.

I see where you're coming from, and he did do that well, but I still feel he could be better used.

JBL is one of the best color commentators of all time. Also, his WWE Title run made me sad that he wasted all those years not being "JBL". He's awesome in every way. Just put him on screen in some way and all will be well.

That's like "too good in the sack to have sex with."

He's the best heel of the past 10 years. JBL is fucking amazing. Teach those vanilla midgets how to draw.

He'll first claim to hate it, and then months later say he marked out huge.

THIS. I know his back wouldn't be up to a full time comeback, but would love Bryan/Kane to break off and feud over AJ, have Punk win at NWO and the next night on RAW talk about how he has done it again, proved he is the best in the world, then

BAM! Clothesline from Hell!!! "you might be the best in the world...but you're not a wrestling GOD!"...tell me you wouldn't mark out for that?

Would make a nice mini-feud for Punk before SummerSlam too...

I would not mark out for that, honestly.

that's because that would be terrible

Anyway I would like for him to come back as an announcer. Loved him in that role and did not care at all about the rest his career.
