View Full Version : U.S Open 2012 Golf
Rory Mcilroy is the defending champ. Who you guys got? I want to pick Ricky Fowler, because he's been amazing as of late and his performance in the rain at the British Open was amazing. He didnt win, but he clearly showed he belonged.
Butttttt... The way Olympic sets up. The difficulty of the course. The winning score may very well be -1. With that difficulty and with Tiger heating up. I have to believe that the field will slow down and Tiger Woods will catch them.
I'm going Tiger Woods. Its just time.
I know there are only a few golf fans. Who you got?
Mickelson has lost his ball on the first hole lol

I'm going Tiger, as well. He is due for a major and hot off that win a couple weeks ago as well. I think we may be witnessing a return to form of sorts for him.

Tiger showed up like a boss yesterday. can't wait to watch this today
It really shows you that he's way better then the field, even today. He managed the course perfectly. He knew everyone was going to shit themselves trying to be aggressive, so he just hung back and managed the course. Honestly, Tiger probably thought a +1 would have been an excellent round. The fact that he put a -1, just shows you how much in trouble the rest of the field.
There are some great players who had some great rounds. Nick Watney, Justin Rose, Graem Mcdowell.
Tiger is leading the U.S Open after the first four holes in the 2nd round.

Like to see Justin Rose win it
Bo Hassler, 17 years of age, briefly held the lead. Currently 10th. That's pretty damn amazing. Probably hit the best shot of the tournament so far.
I'm so locked into the US.Open every year. It just brings out the best all around player. Which is why I think Tiger wins. Its no suprise that Woods, Furyk and Toms are top three. The difference between Tiger and those two. They all are excellent course managers, but only Tiger can blow the field away at the same time.
So confident Tiger is winning.this.

Time for Tiger to bring out the red shirt today and bring it home.
Coincidentally, it's Father's Day. And we all know how close Tiger and his deceased father were.
It just seems like everything points to a Tiger win.
I really think Westwood is gunna take this down. Dude does this in every huge tournament. First two rounds, ho hum. Third.round, scorches the fucking earth. And yes, 67 on this course is incredible. Its 64 on normal tracks.

Stuck a fiver on G-Mac yesterday when he was 9-1. Hoping he can bring me home a little bit of surprise money. Fucking golf though, difficult to predict.
Last time Tiger was behind McDowell, on top of the leader board going into a final round, G-Mac shit himself.

Don't think Woodsy is that much of a factor nowadays in terms of intimidating the field. Especially since he couldn't even come from behind when he was at his best. G-Mac might not/probably won't win but I doubt it'll be because he's having nightmares about Tiger. Let's hope he does win though so I get some money to gamble away on football.

I came from the back and dropped 4 shots on your mother
Tiger sure shit himself today.
I would love to see.Ernie Els win this
G Mac needs to settle down. He still has a fairly long put to make dudes running up to the green like he's lapping the field.
