View Full Version : Best wrestler nickname ever?

In your opinion who had (or has if they still wrestle) the best nickname ever for a wrestler?
The only catch is the nickname can't be part of their actual wrestling name someone like The Rock or Andre the Giant wouldn't count while someone like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin would.

If someone like "Stone Cold" Steve Austin counts, then obviously him. Don't think it should, since the thing pretty much became part of his name, and not just a nickname. His nickname would be "The Rattlesnake" or "The Bionic Redneck".

So by that logic, Bret The Hitman Hart wouldn't count either?

Felt the need to bump this thread. If it was an Iop thread it'd be 3 pages already, Smelly Meatball deserves better than this.

TBH, anytime I say "The Total Package", I smile.
It's not a bad nickname, but it's kinda funny how it just rolls off the toungue.

Hard to beat SCSA.
For the modern era though "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown had a good ring to it.....I wonder what ever happened to him.

Above Average
Always thought that one was funny. Like a guy who's not great or wonderful or marvelous. He's just "Above Average". It's a very understated way to show off, like you're not confident enough in your greatness.

Just to elaborate a little more I used to run around my house when I was a kid pretending to be Jake The Snake's son. I used to think it was so cool that he had the same name as me, I even pretended he was my dad. After mine left anyway.

i liked "the last outlaw" undertaker that lasted 15 minutes or so.
For me its a toss up between Phenom and The Apex Predator
(even though phenom doesnt really lend itself to Undertaker as far as the actual definition which makes him sound more like a child prodigy than an otherworldly force but it still sounds good) sorry for short rant.
"Mr Ass" wasn't bad.
would've been interesting for Gunn to commit a serious crime during this gimmick
