No achievement gimmick this year, BUT a community voted deal every 8 hours. That's quite delightful.
Post yo swag as we go on as always. Nothing for me day #1.

Actually, didn't see the flash deals.
Got me some Rayman Origins for a tenner.

Yesssssssssssss. Love the Steam Summer Sale.
Can't count on my fingers and toes the number of games I've gotten tons of hours out of that only cost me like $5 to $15.

I'll probably pick up Rayman Origins for that cheap.
I got Legend of Grimrock, and I'm downloading the demo for Might & Magic Heroes VI to see if I want that too.

Snagged the inide bundle (Only wanted two games for sure, but it was so much cheaper this way), Insaniquarium (loved that game) and now Hoard on Flash deal.
Considering the indie bundle myself as well as Super Street Fighter IV arcade.

Nothing really jumping out at me so far. Kinda keeping my fingers crossed and hoping Jade Empire comes up on sale. Really want to get back into that game.

Bought these + the Tom Clancy one on sale.

Everything I want I've already got again. People keep whining about that but surely it's a good thing? Less money to spend and you already own games you enjoy. Boo hoo.

Bet they are the same people who whine yearly that steam is "raping my wallet!"
I've already got most of the deals I care about, but I'm happy that I got a few decent deals.

Indie bundle 2 any good?
Hope so, I just bought it for no particular reason.
I've mostly just been being random cheap stuff, mostly games that have seemed tempting for whatever reason in the past.
Also for ClockShot, Jade Empire is on sale but it's "only" 50% off.

Thanks for the tip. Just bought it.
I am not familiar with Jade Empire. What kind of game is it?

It's a Bioware RPG, they made it after doing Knight of the Old Republic.
Ah, thanks. I'll may get it before the end of the sale.

Ooooh. Knights of the Old Republic for pocket change today.
If anybody hasn't played this yet, this is your chance to do so.

Jade Empire for 6.99. Back To The Future for 14.99. I have been staring at my Xbox copy of Jade Empire unable to play it until Steam. For that, I'm thankful.

Bought Limbo, I had missed it last winter and felt like an ass then.
Bought the Thief collection because I loved the original one as a kid :'(

Steam is the shit, I've bought so much the past few days.

Bought:
Dear Esther
Dragon Age Origins: Ultimate Edition
Killing Floor (Which I discovered has an annoying compatibility issue with my combination of dual monitors and graphics card. So I don't know how often I'll be playing it.)
Payday: The Heist
The Polynomial
RAGE
The Witcher: Enhanced Edition
I played Killing Floor an ungodly amount when I first got it.

I only grabbed Trine 2, and The Binding of Isaac DLC, so far.
I have so many games stockpiled already, I'm just waiting for deals I really want.

Wish Arma 2 would have gone on sale for cheaper. Didn't feel it was worth $17.99 at its cheapest and I'm only interested in DayZ. Was the MAIN thing I was interested in and figured the last day they might have done it, but they never did. :(

I went mental. I bought a load of things I already have on 360 anyway. I guess I view Steam as a digital lockbox.

You're not alone...half the games I bought, I owned on the 360, and I didn't flinch once.

I've only rebought a couple. One of the things I like about Steam sales is that it lets me buy shit I was reticent to purchase at higher prices on a console.

I did it almost with a view to play the stuff on the 360. Unfortunately 2 days back to PC gaming was enough to irritate me, and ultimately it was trying to get my computer to play full ball with my TV was irritating. It's very nice to have them there though, I put down about £70 but made back money from selling a load of 360 games in the process. I got rid of the 360 stuff that I kept around because I like but haven't honestly played in a year or two.
I had thought about upgrading to get GTA IV to run a bit better, and realised I'd have to spend at least £200 to make the upgrade worthwhile.
I'll appreciate Steam in the future when a cheap laptop is able to run all these games.

And now the sale is over, it's on offer for 75% off. Holy logical pricing, Steam!

Steam Summer Sale still haunts my damn dreams. I can't stop playing Skyrim.
Had it on Xbox, but the last day it went on sale for 30 dollars. I picked that shit up so damn fast.

Kane Knight, I was kind of interested in getting an indie bundle, but I have too many games as it is, did you end up getting any of them?
Kane Knight

I think I only bought one full bundle but got a fuckton of the indie titles.
Loving Jamestown right now. Too bad I'm not better at it. Also too bad there's no online co-op, because getting four people into shooters huddled around one monitor is ass.

I hear that, used to be my cup of tea with Goldeneye 64 and Halo back in the day
