I love Ziggler to death, has been a fan ever since he debuted. The persona of a man who talks enough shit and backs it up every time.

I want to know the forums opinion on weather or not MITB has "made" ziggler into a permanent big now from here on out.

I know we talk about Swagger and his MITB...WHC....Jobber to the starts stint. Is this the fate for Ziggler? Or will The Show Off be known as a big name from here on out?

Me personally, I think this is the obvious sign that he's a top player now, it's only a matter of time before he starts headlining big matches, personal guess is end of the year.

I don't know if this is as high as he'll ever make it, but he surely has the potential to go a lot higher.

A lot higher.

Nothing's in stone just yet, but he's definitely making strides in the right direction. His work is undeniable. I can't really see him getting de-pushed for any good reason.

He's most assuredly getting there. He's probably the best guy on the roster right now not working the main event. Looks, charisma, in the ring he's a home run every time, he bumps like a machine and has crossover potential. Zig-Zag is money.

Yeah, wouldn't say he's 'made it' right now, but he's on the right track. He has the charisma and in-ring skills to go a long way.

It's far too early to say, but he looks to have everything needed to 'make it'

Ziggler is one of those guys who has paid his dues, which will make his title run more meaningful. Hasn't even reached his full potential, but the possibility is there.

Hard to believe this was a spirit squad guy stuck with a porn star name and shaking hands with randoms backstage. The guy deserves it for making his character work so well.

He's gotta cash in the briefcase and then win and hold the title for a while before we can consider him as "made it". I think he's one of the few wrestlers who can still look good and have a good reaction while still losing matches.

He's still just upper midcard at the minute. Definitely has potential, and a feud with Jericho could be a great way to push his status up a fair bit.

He needs some big wins to erase the last two years of yo-yoing. Also while he's amazing with the bumps he takes, I hope he slows it down a bit. I want him to be around in 10 years.

I think he's miles ahead of where he was 6 months ago. If he can continue to develop his mic skills he can really be in a position to be a top guy for years. I think this Jericho feud is huge for him, a little surprised Jericho is the one starting the face turn because I've noticed fans starting to get behind Ziggler more and more.

If he knocks off Jericho and some other main eventer (Maybe CM Punk since he's in the dog house?) then he has made it.

He's not there yet, but he is certainly on the cusp.

By his expectations, no he has not. He has been documented in saying that he wants to be where Cena is.

Also, coupled with the fact of him wanting to entertain. His online show is real good. And his crossover interviews and appearances (deal or no deal, George Lopez) were good as well.

If he keeps his outside the ring image clean, he can be a cash cow. And pass my pick for the next big thing: Kofi Kingston.

Ziggs is on his way but won't reach that upper level for sometime if ever.
Kofi = Shelton Benjamin w/o Momma

Why doesn't Ziggler have a finishing move called Heil Ziggler?

I'd say he's been on the verge of making it for quite some time now he just needs a little something to get him over to the very top.

First of all... DAMN!

Second... He has the MITB contract and unless WWE decides to totally screw him and break the MITB streak, then he will be a champ within the next year...

And third, Thank God! Ziggler is a badass...

Never got the reason behind the idea of having someone lose the cash in match, kayfabe wise its beyond stupid, but Zigglers booked strong enough that i dont see that as an issue regardless. I don't think you can say hes made it until hes cashed in and had his title reign, if hes booked strong then you could argue he has, would love to see him him get a decent run with the belt.

I think he's on the right path. I like Ziggler. I really wish they would split him up from Vickie.

Not yet since he still needs to win the title before he can be considered "made" but he's slowly getting to that status. He's already proved he can put or help put on great matches regardless of the opponent while his promo ability is already better than most of the current roster.

Although for all we know, it could end up as him and not Cena who would be the first to lose as a MitB winner.

Kinda feel like answering this with a question: Having won Money In The Bank, won the WWE Championship AND Main Evented WrestleMania, is The Miz a "made man"?

My point being, even if they "make" him/push Ziggler to the very top, there's no guarantee he stays there.

even retained in the Mania main as well

I was going to make a list of tiers that I think all the "top guys" are on but I can't be bothered.

Good point CSL, I meant to say that myself.

Winning the belt doesn't "make" guys anymore (as Swagger, Miz, Del Rio can attest), you need more. A sustained roll at the top of the card is now more important than winning "The Big One".

Ziggler has proved that time and time again. He's given extraordinary matches weather it be Main title (WHC) or 2nd title. Plus every match I've seen in the last year made me believe he can be the man who ends up on top. Regardless of the situation.

He needs to beat Sheamus clean

Not unless he gets turned full-on face, or at least if the clean win turns him face.

I think you coud argue he is, maybe not to the level of Cena or even Punk, but i'd say he's on par with Jericho, a guy who can fit into the main event picture and have a believable chance of winning even if hes been relegated to the mid card inbetween.

I don't think anyone, outwith Cena, is really kept on top though anymore, really how you qualify a 'top' guy kinda debatable anyway, for me its a guy who fits into the main event without looking like hes there to make up the numbers as vague as that is.

dolph should have been pushed to the m/e status 2 years ago but for some reason vince didnt see what everyone else does

Nah not everyone needs to go flying straight to the top of the pack as soon as they start putting on good matches. They've timed and developed him quite well.

Okay, If things go as the are now. Ziggler should be champ AND have the title for a long time.

MITB winners always become champs...
HHH wants longer title reigns...

Our question should be this: will he be allowed multiple title reigns?

Dolph Ziggler is an amazing talent that can really do it all, but I do not consider him "made" yet. He is yet to have that moment that really defines a career. Most of the major stars actually have a few. Remember that discussion about Stone Cold Steve Austin and what moment "made" him?

Ziggler seems to be heading towards a program with Chris Jericho. Now that will surely be an amazing match with some opportunities for Ziggler to stretch his tongue on the mic. He's not bad as a talker, but he's not really a great talker yet, although more so than anyone, he seems to get better at it all the time. Jericho will no doubt put over Ziggler in a DVD-set quality match at SummerSlam. Actually, I could see Jericho winning that, to give Ziggler some sort of obstacle to recover from, but Ziggler will still look amazing after the match.

To be honest, I could see Ziggler being the first to lose when he cashes in Money in the Bank. I agree that in kayfabe it is stupid for the MITB Winner to lose when they cash in -- but I could see Ziggler being tempted to the "light side" by Cena or even Jericho to prove himself against Sheamus, and losing cleanly. This would start Ziggler's path to re-earning his spot in the main event -- either as a face or a heel. I personally think they should just put the World Heavyweight Title on Ziggler, but I could see them making Dolph work just that bit harder, because he's capable of it.

I like the line that Ziggler currently walks. He's still a heel, but he's getting cheers and not really responding to them. He's slowly getting a character, which I think will really help him as he tries to stick around the top.

So has he made it? Not yet. But I think that he will. The spot he is currently in reminds me of the spot that Edge was in when he first won Money in the Bank. We all know it's going to happen -- we just don't know how and when.

I wish they'd really switch the briefcase situation. Cena vs. Irish Cena and Punk vs. Ziggler would be far better matches.

Punk and Cena put on one of the best matches WWE has seen in years and Ziggler and Sheamus have been the two guys to throw against each other for a guaranteed great match for the past couple months on Smackdown. I'm not sure if you're just turned on by the face vs face dynamic of Sheamus and Cena but "far better matches"???

Irish Cena. Good one.

I have no desire to see Punk and Ziggler feud right now. Leave them apart for a while. Ziggler and Sheamus have amazing chemistry, as well. Plus, Cena vs. Punk is going to be huge.

He's been to the top before (early 2010) and he's slowly climbing back towards that hole he broke in the glass ceiling at that year's Royal Rumble "event".
