Today, John Laurinaitis resigned from his position as Senior Vice President of Talent Relations. Now get somebody that can hire wrestlers.

It's not hiring wrestlers that's the problem, the problem is releasing them when there is still plenty of use for them in the company.

Kozlov and Smith were prematurely released, it was uncalled for.

HHH was listed as the EVP of Talent on the corporate site for the last few months.

Damn. Loved Big Johnny. Was the best part of Raw more often than not for about the past 9 months.

They should replace him with Brian Knobbs from the Nasty Boyz.

They totally need to get Hirako Matsuka, who won the 1984 King of Pancake Slap Slam.

Did he resign by his own volition or was it to keep him from being fired?

Or using them in the first place.

Oh, I thought Hulk Hogan finally won the TNA World Title at a TNA house show :shifty:

Seriously though, maybe the WWE can bring in "Cowboy" Bill Watts or another Southern "rasslin" type. Somebody who can counter balance the sports entertainment writters so we can get more than 30 mins of matches in a 3 hour show. (Maybe they can steal Jim Cornette back)

Don't think Cornettes ever going to get back.

That's not a bad idea, man. Since they added another hour to their show, there's no excuse to not add more ring time.

The problem is knowing how to book them. There's not many guys on the roster right now who can't be valuable parts of building the company up to being great but the booking for the most part is unorganized, sloppy and just shit.

I love Cornette, most of what the guy says makes sense, but he's burned far too many bridges and really, for all the praise he gets, he's never actually been that successful on his own. Smokey Mountain failed, his tenure in OVW was bankrolled by Vince and was never going to fail financially but he still thinks its the territory days, and his man management skills are non existant. I think he'd have to pay them to take him back.

Love Jim Cornette and all, but he is stuck in the "old school" and he seems to let his emotions and such get the better of him far too often.

Hornswoggle, he's Johnny's Jiminy Cricket/Karl Rove.

They did fairly good this past Raw, but maybe the over-using of replays indicates the Plan B initiative being put into play when they lose the creative-writing drive to book a talent to (appear to) make an ass of him/herself. They'd just as soon have the talent do it off the air or during a squash to perform as sacrificial guinea pigs.

It takes much more than one night to book a charcter. WWE has been abysmal at it for a while now. I'm curious what you thought was good character booking on Raw though.

And so you find happiness in his loss just because he made some business decisions that some wrestling geeks didn't agree with? That's very low of you DLVH84. I thought you were better than that.
