QUESTION - Would a Legacy reunion be of benefit to the WWE?
Was wondering what you guys thought:
My opinion is yes for the following reasons:
1) Most solid stables, be it DX, nWo, 4 Horsemen, Radicalz, etc., all have atleast one reunion in them.
2) All three of Orton, Rhodes, and Dibiase seem to be directionless at current.
It allows Orton to be his natural heel self.
Thoughts?
for DiBiase, absolutely. Don't really see it benefiting Orton or Cody

I enjoyed Legacy but they really didn't do anything of worth, it was Orton and 2/3 guys in the background, the other factions you mentioned all made an impact, Legacy I can't think of anything they actually did.

Orton goes back to being a prominent main event heel as opposed to a borderline Jobber to the Stars pretend main event face.
If Legacy appears on both shows, you can have Orton going after one World championship while Rhodes goes after another. Dibiase attempts to be a double Intercontinental and US title holder.

Rhodes and Dibiase got over big time as Orton's henchmen.
Rhodes and Dibiase would give the tag team division a lot more presence.

I enjoyed Legacy, but I can't really think of a storyline scenario that would make them all want to re-align. Sell that to me and we can talk.

Basically - they all agree that none of them are friends.....and that when the time is right and they stand in each other's way, they will go after each other. They flat out say this in a promo to the fans.
However - they also believe that they were the greatest stable of all-time and when together, are unstoppable.
Although this initial admission of "not being friends" and inevitably stabbing each other in the back appears to be a weakness amongst the fans, this open honesty and candor about what the group is about actually leads to the group being stronger.......as everyone is on the same page about their relationship, intentions, and what they expect.
Their is no facade of friendship. It's a pure business decision that benefits all 3 men and for this reason, they've reformed the band.

That doesn't sound very heelish to me.

They attack The Rock at Royal Rumble and take turns shitting in his mouth. They then shake hands.
Next night on RAW, they explain their actions.

I wouldn't mind seeing Cody Rhodes try to get them back together after a bit of a losing streak because that was when all 3 guys were "at their strongest". Have him easily persuade DiBiase to join him because, well, he's not doing anything else anyway. Then have them interfere in Orton's matches to help him, against Randy's will.
Kinda hit a wall there and don't know where they couldd go after that without it either turning into an Orton vs Rhodes w/DiBiase feud or just end up rehashing The Legacy but with Rhodes in a more prominent role, which would then naturally end up with Orton vs Rhodes again anyway.
In short, if done right, yeah I'd absolutely like to see it. But it may be a bit of a task turning Orton heel and keeping any of it fresh.

It would probably help Orton & DiBiase, but would stall Rhodes' push to main event status even moreso.....

Do you really see Rhodes being pushed to the main event as it stands right now?
Even without Legacy, I think Rhodes has hit a plateau.

They already paired Ted DiBiase with Cody Rhodes last year since he was getting no reaction and all it did was drag Cody down. Pretty sure they even feuded with Orton for a few months and he consistently squashed them both.
Better off keeping them all as far away from each other as possible.

I'd rather Triple H also be involved and be like a next generation of evolution

They weren't a big enough group for anyone to care. Now if they reformed evolution that would benefit the wwe

Nice. Noid didn't post yet.
I think I'll stay out of this thread from now on. Quitting while I'm ahead.

I never recall Dibiase or Rhodes being anything other than Orton's stooges in Legacy, therefore I think it'd do harm to Cody. Dibiase would get to be on TV again, so I guess that's saying something for him.

I wasn't a big fan of Legacy at the time but right now I wouldn't mind seeing them reunite because none of them are up to much at the moment. I would like to see it go the way that Evolution did. Randy would of course be the "Triple H" of new Legacy and have a World title reign for a bit and then lose it. He gets side tracked in some feud, Cody wins the title, and Randy turns on Cody, making Randy the super heel he wants to be and establishes Cody as a main eventer.

Oh and DiBiasie can be US/IC Champ or something.

Just to spite Jabba:
I was thinking about Legacy the other day as something to do for Cody Rhodes. I don't think it would help Orton any at this point in his career, and I think Orton getting tired of being in groups got his character to where it is at the moment. To go back and join one would not make much sense.
Rhodes, on the other hand, has used people on-air his entire career before turning on them: Hardcore Holly, Ted DiBiase, Drew McIntyre. As such, I think Rhodes putting together a new version of Legacy would actually make sense. Rhodes would be the leader, and DiBiase would join him after realising that the fans didn't really care about him and he really doesn't give two shits about the fans. As for a third man, I'd go with Michael McGillicutty, going by his real name -- not to be smarky, but so that his family history makes more sense. Call him "Michael Hennig" if you don't want to drop the first name.
Rhodes is also such an ass that when DiBiase and Hennig get sick of him, they can turn on him and maybe successfully develop personalities of their own.

they weren't a memorable group IMO so I don't think anyone would have that nostalgia for the group.

Sure i'd like to see it but not under Orton's leadership if anything Cody should be the one to restart the group and use it too include other 2nd and 3rd generation superstars.

Both "Yes" and "Kane Knight has been destroyed by penises multiple times in men's lockerrooms." are true but I can only pick one! Tough choice.
Question is if it would benefit the WWE and of course it would. Would it benefit Orton? No.
I thought along the same lines as Noid and XCaliber with having Rhodes be the leader of a new look Legacy but it might be a better idea to have DiBiase instigate/lead the group. Throw in Mike McG and Richie Steamboat/Bo Dallas/some other 2nd/3rd gen guy and see if it gets them/Ted over.

I'd say no considering only Dibiase would benefit the most once he comes back considering out of the three, he's done the least while Rhodes is good enough to be on his own and not as Orton's lackey again.
Would also need to turn Rhodes to a face to make it work considering the other two are faces and would rather he keep his great heel character that's been developing well the past few years.
