Best Iop post ever.

There's a rumour going that they want to bring him back for a couple of matches after seeing that he was in good shape. He's like 48 now though so there wouldn't be much of a long term benefit for them signing him up full time unfortunately.

I saw Road Dogg in Phoenix at the hotel prior to MITB and he definitely hadn't skipped many buffets. Not to say he's Dusty Rhodes in the 80's fat, but he definitely didn't look to be in the greatest shape and had aged mighty shittily.

Ehhhh his hairline looked 48....not Shawn Michaels bad, but I could buy mid 40's.

He retired after the death of his Number One Fan, ToVo. ToVo's life was claimed last year when he finally lost his battle to fake AIDS.

Who claimed it? I hate when I wait too long to claim a prize.

WTF are you on about? I think this "Show Off" gimmick is working really well for him.

I thought out of Gunn, Road Dogg and XPac, Billy looked the best (I know it's not saying much, but yeah).

I think he can definitely get in there and help young talent get over. Guys like Miz and Ziggler could benefit greatly from either wrestling Billy or even having him in their corner.

I know he's working a bunch of indy shows....a couple of workers I know just worked with him up in Michigan....said he can still go.

That's awesome to hear. He was always one of my favorites!

If you want to see old talent hold still pretend they "still have it" go watch every other TNA segment that doesn't involve Austin Aries.

Billy Gunn isn't wrestling because its 2012 not 1998

1998 was hot, Dreamcast was just around the corner, Quake 2 was being awesome, internet was fun.
Ah, 1998.

Wow, Gunn's actually older than 'Taker? Never knew that till a wiki search on 'Taker revealed he's only 47. Wonder if that means he'll have perhaps another 5 years of Mania matches to make it 25-0, or if they'll let him just retire before he has another Mania match and leave it at 20-0. Either way, I would assume, although you can never be truly certain, that "the streak" ('Taker's, not Brian "Spanky" Kendrick's :shifty:) will live forever.
