View Full Version : Worst win ever

Post very bad wins like the Jackie/Chavo match.

IMV, the worst win would have to be (biker) Undertaker defeating Big show and Brock Lesnar. Undertaker Defeated 2 main eventers, (yes at the time big show was a main eventer) Undertaker needs to let go of the lime light and put people over like Mick Foley did to Orton.

Jeff Jarrett over Heavy Metal. I don't know how good or bad the match was, but if the finish was enough to start a riot, then that's not a very good sign.

Same with Jarrett over Raven.

X-Pac defeating Kane in year 2000 (singles match).

I remember that. Kane runs at X-Pac holding the steel ring steps, X-Pac spinkicks it into Kane's face. Kane falls backwards like a felled tree with the steps on his face, and X-Pac jumps on top of him and pins him. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

How about RVD & Kane vs. Lance Storm & William Regal for the Tag Titles before WrestleMania XIX? RVD gets clotheslined by an interfering D-Von Dudley, and Storm pins him. I was like WTF???

HHH over Booker T at WMXIX.

"Mark"-taker over RVD at Vengeance '01, for the HC title.

"Mark"-taker over DDP at Invasion. (That's a candidate for one of the worst matches ever)

oh yeah, HOGAN over HHH at Backlash '02... just absolutely awful.

They fought on four different PPVs. Five if you count The Royal Rumble.

Anyway:

Survivor Series 99 - Kane won by DQ when NAO ran in.

Armageddon - Kane gave X-Pac a clothesline from the top of the cage and a tombstone to pick up the victory.

Royal Rumble - Kane elminated X-Pac, but the refs were distracted so he got back in. Kane was eliminated by X-Pac.

No Way Out - Kane was gettong ready to smash X-Pac with the stairs, X-Pac gave him a spinwheel kick and pinned him with the stairs on top.

Wrestlemania 2000 - The feud wrapped up, thankfully, with Rikishi and Kane going over Road Dogg and X-Pac.

You try pinning someone after having your vertebrae snapped in three places.

And I loved Rey's "Giant Killer" wins in WCW. I remember laughing my ass off when he booted (his first name escapes me) Norton in the balls then pinned him. I'll admit, his Powerbomb reversal with the punches on Kevin Nash was pretty lame, but I loved their match at Uncensored 1999. I was so into it, and I was so pissed when Nash dropped Rey with that devastating Jackknife Powerbomb.

Of course, I was a mark then too. :-\

DDP and Undertaker didn't have a match at InVasion, they were in the inaugral brawl and kinda disappeared through the building.

They fought at King Of The Ring, but it was a fight, not a match.

Anyway, Austin over Owen, Austin over Yokozuna at the Free For All at Summerslam 1996 (and I'm an Austin fan!)

Anyone who didn't see that one, Yokozuna went for the Banzai Drop, but pulled too hard and the top rope broke and Austin did another kinda sloppy roll-up.

What about Shelton Benjamin's second win over Triple H? I thought that in a count out situation with both men on the outside, the count reset once one of them got back in the ring. When Shelton got back in the ring, the ref just continued the count from wherever it was. I'm pretty sure that's not right.

Yes Shelton rolled back into the ring, but unless the wrestler intentionally breaks the count by rolling back outside or stopping the ref then the count continues, otherwise there would never be any count-outs.

True when some wrestlers roll back in the ring, the ref stops the count but, this was this finish, and was supposed to work this way. :y:

That John Cena over Jericho win back before the brand extension, post-losing the title to HHH was also pretty blasted bad.

Vince winning the WWF title in '99 from HHH (think it was at the October PPV)

Chyna over Jeff Jarrett (even though he had to drop that belt) for the IC belt. Well, no. That led to one of the most entertaining Jericho feuds (and promos) ever.
