Not to be a whiny fan boy, just going to share my feelings.

Not sure why they did that this episode, and kind of feel let down.

The act of killing that character off doesnt make sense in this scope.


Opie has been shit on from day one. Wanted out of the club season one when he got out of jail but was pulled back in. Wife Killed. Father Killed. Tried to Kill Clay and a giant rift was caused with his best friend. Ive been waiting for either him to get revenge finally, or some kind of redemption. Was hoping him and Jax could come back together when he knew the truth.

I figured when he went to jail with them, it was his way of coming back, to protect Jax and make peace. But they didnt. When Jax came clean he just said Jax made the wrong choice. Then his attack on the guard was less of a way to sacrifice himself, but more like a means to an end. When he went to Lila it seemed like he planned on dying soon. This was his way of basically killing himself. Thats house I feel it played out, and I think they were going for a more heroic "Ill die for the club" scenario.

I just feel like his closure wasnt right. I think this is going to be the turning point on Jax. Hes going to find himself more and more like Clay, using people in the club.

Also, now Tig is the reason both Donna and Opie are dead. And also why the club is losing half their money. and his daughter is dead.

Pope seems a little unfair. You kill my daughter. I make you watch yours burn alive, then I kill one of your club, and take half your money. I know he is the big bag man, but how can the cartel not step in and put this guy in his place? HEs just a gloried mobster running some street gangs in LA. Very powerful yes, but I would think a mexican cartel would trump him.

Yeah the stuff about Pope and his status seems a bit odd considering there are way more powerful gangs and cartels that would easily dwarf his own power, money, and men.

It makes it seem like he's the mafia boss of the city when he's just a rich gang leader.

Opie dying was certainly tragic, but you could also see it coming when he and Jax were sitting in that cell.

The only REAL problem I have with the death is that Op never found out that Tig killed Donna, and that he should have been the one to skin the guy alive.

You need to have characters you truly hate.

Clay spoke to Tig and offered him a spot in his new group once it forms while Jax stated he never trusted Tig to begin with since he was always Clay's right hand man. I think Clay even said his whole purpose with the new group is to destroy SAMCRO while Tig didn't even show any signs of being upset with it.

If Pope dies next week, its probably not by Tig although I think Pope ends up double crossing Jax regardless. He's already muscled in on the club's business and has teased a bunch of times he always does whatever he wants and not what has been agreed to or voted on.

But they always have one big reveal. Jax has been trying to emulate Pope all season. Wouldnt be surprised to see him use Tig to Kill pope. Then Tig will be the target of Pope's hit squads that get money after he dies. Two Birds. He blames Tig as much as Pope for Opies death, and now that he has learned from Pope its time for revenge.

You're right in that Clay offered Tig a spot, however he said he was only going to take the business on that the club left behind, so there's no conflict of interest. Just his way to make money and start making restitution. Now, of course, whether or not he's telling the truth is a whole other matter.

Liked even though how messed up Tig is even he has his limits when it came to that dog fight.

Shocked not soo much about Jax saving Tig or Tig killing off Pope but Jax actually caring that much about Tig considering he's the reason why Opie died.

Figured if Tig lived, maybe Pope teases a double cross occurring or if Pope died, Jax lets his hitmen go after Tig. Didn't expect Jax to save Tig twice by making it seem like Clay killed Pope so the hitmen leave Tig alone.

Knew Tig was gonna live as predicted a couple weeks ago. Didn't think Jax would be smart enough to pin it on Clay.

I'm wondering who ratted out Tara to the cops. I'm thinking Gemma because it's Gemma and she didn't want to leave the kids. But I'm wondering if Donal Logue did it, he was only around for 30 seconds for the entire show and I was waiting for him to make his power play. Maybe this was it?
