Despite the success of Transformers: Dark of the Moon, expect the next film in the franchise to have an all-new cast of autobots and humans.

The reason behind this: HASBRO ANGRY.

Apparently not enough merchandise or toys were sold because people already have enough Optimus Prime stuff.

Michael Bay is directing but is leaving the series afterwards. They're bringing him back to ideally set up another trilogy.
