So my mom apparently met a former AWA wrestler the other day who referred to himself only as "Big Star Dancer". The guy signed something for her but I've never heard of a Big Star Dancer before so I'm a little skeptical about this guy. Anyway my question is have any of you guys ever heard the name and if so who the hell is he? Dude was old but I'm sure someone like DVL might know something.

Your mom was probably duped.

Could it be from the imposter AWA Dale Gagne portrayed? Because in the real AWA that Verne Gagne ran, I never heard of anyone with that nickname.

Don't know for sure. Guy was from Texas apparently (And VERY proud of that fact). Bought her popcorn at the movies for her when she didn't have the money and signed an autograph then went on his way to his movie. Said "In Texas we'd never let a wrestler not buy popcorn for a lady" Then split. Strikes me as odd but he didn't really have anything to gain by doing this so. *Shrug*

I think he just wanted to fuck your mum in the bum and then make her clean it up and say yum.

BAHAHAHAHA! but no the sig was totally free no strings attached and the dude just disappeared afterward. Guy also had no way of knowing she was a wrestling fan until after he mentioned that he was a wrestler (Allegedly). Either way no harm no foul just thought I'd see if I could dig up some info on this guy. If he wasn't a wrestler it seems really weird that he'd use that as a pick-up line I mean if you're gonna fake being a "Famous athlete" then wouldn't it make more sense to fake being something that more people actually care about? Ah well. Also I can try to post a pic of the sig it's on a receipt lol.

Could it have been Curtis Hughes? Not in a mean way, ask her if it was a big black guy.

No, he went by the name Big Cat Hughes in the dying days of the AWA.

Said he was a big burly looking guy and over 6 ft but he was in her words "Either an indian (Native American variety) or some sort of Mexican." (No my mom doesn't know the meaning of the words Politically Correct)
