She couldn't log into her email for some reason and was told that she was sending spam...
She found a "Yahoo costumer service" number she found online and started talking to a guy. He had her go to logmein123.com and started accessing the computer remotely. It then turned into him showing her a bunch of "viruses" that probably weren't really viruses and trying to get her to buy $600 protection. When she told him she couldn't he started telling her it's very important and hackers can use her computer for illegal purposes and she can be responsible and she needs to borrow the money, etc.
So yeah... a scam.
Anyway, should she be worried about him having had access to the computer and is there anything I need to do to make sure he no longer has access to it?
