This is a problem i ran into when I used to do these. People just aren't familiar with the older teams.

Since Haku was in both teams he cancels himself out. I have to look at the other members of the teams to vote. Andre the Giant wins the comparison so the Col. Connection wins. Even though it was at the tail-end of his career he is still the 8th Wonder of the World. They were the WWF Tag Team Champions when it mattered.

What's so difficult to comprehend? I just checked and The Islanders were around roughly 1986-88 and Colossal Connection 89-90. I would've been a baby when either team last tagged and I don't go back and watch old stuff. Get off your fanboy high horse.

Well it's not really worth my time going back to watch a decade or mores worth of wrestling. I very rarely even go back and rewatch stuff I have seen. Maybe the occasional match every 6-9 months for nostalgia. If I had that much free time I'd probably choose to do something else with it. I don't see any need for me to go back and watch older stuff just because it's supposed to be good.

Brazil in the 1970's is often stated as one of the best football teams ever, doesn't mean I want to go back and watch every Brazil match from then, and I like football a bollock load more than wrestling.

That's not to say I think 80's wrestling or 70's Brazilian football is bad, I just don't have the desire to go back and watch it all.
