3 hours is affecting writing so badly that it feels like the whole show is basically just filling time. Why is Sheamus facing Miz right now?
They just rewrote all of the Survivor Series card which pretty much made all of last weeks episode a waste.
Bout to watch MNF.

but if you watch next week you'll see it was all a swerve to the story!

Did you watch Smackdown?

3 Hours is killing this show. Vince McMahon is killing this show. Ryback is killing this show. Comedy Jobbers (3MB, Santino/Ryder) are killing this show.
Royal Rumble holding pattern folks, settle in. Nothing matters until Zigger wins the WHC.

lol. They seriously wrote and aired an episode of Raw last week revolving around a Team Foley vs Team Punk storyline and then during the week leading up to the next episode said "Nah, let's do something else..." and just basically scrapped a show that already aired. No injuries fucking up plans and forcing a re-group or anything... Just a "Meh, changed our minds" as if they can't write anything more than a few days in advance. These are professionals working in writing 3 hours of television that is seen all around the world who do these kinds of things regularly.
Amazing.

Also negated the seeming build up to a Cena/Dolph confrontation over the whole AJ/Viki thing. Cena hasn't even mentioned Punk or the title in weeks.

To be fair, they changed plans at the drop of a hat during the attitude era as well (see: leadup to Summerslam 99).
I agree that 3 hours is excessive though.

Seemed to me that they changed their mind mid-show.
They furthered the Team Punk and Cena/Ziggler storylines then did away with them completely less than an hour later.
I guess Heyman doesn't owe Barratt anything now.
:wtf:

Personally, I am glad they made the change. I am all for a traditional SS match and all, but the triple threat will be a bigger draw and way more entertaining, to be honest.
Couple days back I read on the front that they are wanting Ziggler/Orton to have a decent feud for the WHC, so perhaps he cashes in? I could see it happening with the hype built around him doing it at HIAC and not actually cashing in. Then again, Ziggler would want the biggest spotlight, so I could see him doing it @ Mania. Call me a traditionalist, but if he cashed in @ WM, it would be lame. I still like seeing clean 1v1 all-out wrestling matches at WM.

They should have just went with a fatal 4 way off the bat, (including ziggler)

That whole Vince/Vickie/Maddox segment seemed surreal. It seemed like Vince was buzzing from a few pints of Guinness and just said "Fuck it, hit my music. I wanna have some fun."

Maddox wins by DQ
Watched one Raw since it went 3 hours and that was only cause I wanted to see Jerry Lawlers heart attack (morbid curiosity)
Just not interesting unless The Rock or Lesnar is on IMO.

I don't mind the three-hour Raws, but then, I skip through a lot of it anyway.
There's just way too much WWE overall to be honest. I use to try and watch every show up until about a month ago. Now we have Raw, Smackdown, NXT, Superstars, Main Event and Saturday Morning Slam. Nine hours of WWE a week is overkill, especially if you try to catch TNA as well.

I was pretty much the same.
I tried to catch all the shows but I don't bother now and I just watch Raw on Monday nights, SmackDown on Friday/Saturday nights (It depends when it's uploaded) and then Superstars on Saturday mornings.
not since 2006
Then shut up

No you shut up. You go watch "Friday Night Heat" by yourself.

I watch Raw, Main Event, and SmackDown the next day (I work nights), so I have the luxury of fast-forwarding through commercials, and the videos recapping what just happened before the commercial or an hour ago, and that makes it a lot more tolerable, but it's still a lot of weekly product, and that's not counting if I'm feeling ambitious and decide to watch one or both of the web shows (I usually don't).
Anyway, point is, even in essentially fast-forward, the "edited" versions of those six hours of TV still feels like it takes forever to get through.

Maybe I will. That way, when Raw is on, I'll know why two guys are wrestling each other instead of looking like an idiot and complaining about it on a message board.
