It's Johnny Curtis. Not much to speculate. Unless it's a RUSSO-SWERVE!

What's the gimmick like? Who do you think he will feud with? Will this be any good at all?
See, there's some speculation starting points for you.

I am trying to care. I have a flame shield up for the Curtis nutgobblers, but I just can't care...... YET.

Those are some great speculation starting points. I feel the gimmick will either be really hot to start with, or flop. I don't see a middle ground. And if it does get over I feel that booking will eventually kill it. Then again, they've done alright with Ryback so I could be wrong. I am interested to see the character though.

It's a ballroom dancer gimmick he's used at house shows and/or dark matches apparently. He'll probably not "feud" with anybody since feuds outside the main event nowadays are few and far between. I can see him maybe doing something with Brodus Clay similar to what Sandow except I don't think he'll be put over because WWE isn't gonna try to push a guy with a gimmick like this like they wanna push Sandow.
As for your third question, it will be the greatest thing we have ever seen in the history of pro wrestling because it's Johnny Curtis and he is so good at what he does that you can barely justify calling him a human being.

The video's working fine for me. It was posted by WWEFanNation, so I thought it'd be fine.
ANYWAY, I seem to notice a few Johnny Curtis fans around here. I haven't really seen much of him outside of the "cliche" promos on Smackdown before he was squashed by Mark Henry and never heard from again.

I wonder how you parlay a ballroom dance career into a WWE career. Was he kicked out of the Ballroom Dancing Federation for being too aggressive?

But seriously, outside of coming off as ridiculously likable, the guy has a shitload of charisma and he can wrestle. Plus he's a handsome devil. He's the total package.

Maybe he's come to the WWE to show off to the beautiful divas and find the perfect dance partner. I'm looking at you, Kaitlyn.

Hahaha, nice promo. Sounds very natural in his delivery. If they can couple that same tone with a really over the top gimmick, it might be awesome.

That's why I think it will be awesome. I'm looking for the video of him on NXT doing the talent show where he does ribbon dancing. He's a naturally funny guy and he's comfortable. I don't think he'd have the slightest hesitation pulling off "over the top".

I want to see "over the top" treated as perfectly normal, though. Like, everybody sees how ridiculous he's being but him.

Johnny Curtis is fantastic playing a "creepy dude" gimmick. Hopefully in this new gimmick, he will still be mildly creepy.... just creeping on the divas, asking them if they want to get weird.

When I first heard that "Mind if I... cut in?" on the promo video, I imagined him interrupting a diva talking to someone backstage and just saying "Mind if I... cut in?" and proceeding to have a conversation with them while dancing.
Then at the end of the conversation, he puts a rose in their mouth, kisses their hand and walks away.

He was half doing this gimmick on NXT last week while teaming with McGillicutty, who sold it brilliantly. It was glorious.

This thread needs a name change.
I'm watching SmackDown and the newest vignette for him played and he is now called "Fandango".
Which makes a hell of a lot more sense.
they're going to remove a letter with each vignette, he's going to debut as simply "F". Then they'll start selling those "Get the F out!" shirts again. AND NOBODY WILL BUY ONE BECAUSE JOHNNY CURTIS WILL HAVE UNIFIED EVERY TITLE ON TELEVISION AS WELL AS THE TNA BELTS AND THE SUPERBOWL

I know right? Who the hell could watch Smackdown tonight? I forgot it was on tonight until his post about it.
Fandangoo. I don't know this could be really good or really bad for Johnny Curtis. I hope really good, but it might be too much publicity and then a fall down to release. I'm nervous.

I feel like there's a legit possibility that they just misspelled "Fandango" and no one bothered to correct the mistake until after the promo was ready to go.

The only reason SmackDown is on tonight over here is because it's "Live".
Usually, we have to wait until Friday like everyone else for SmackDown.

lol. How do you produce a video where you've fucked up on the spelling of a name and even made an acronym for it? This is insane.
