Everyone's like "Yo son who's gonna be the next top face?" and we're all like RYBACK! ORTON! MAYBE ZIGGLER SOME DAY! I DUNNO, THE MIZ, FUCK WE DON'T HAVE A LOT OF OPTIONS!

And Sheamus is all like "Hey guys :'("

Feel like after he buried our boy D. Bryan we were all like fuck that guy, but the dude can go. He is an excellent worker.

Sheamus, I like you bro. I hope you do well. If you like Sheamus too, post in this thread!

Check that. I don't really feel bad for him cause he's living a pretty tight lifestyle.

I guess what I'm saying is Sheamus is underrated.

I was always indifferent toward Sheamus, but I've really been enjoying his work for the past 6 months or so.

He is second to Cena. He feels like he will always be second to someone though.

Sheamus seems to 'forced' as a face. He's natural as a heel. Every week on SmackDown, he comes across as a sarcastic bully, even though he's just trying to be the 'cool, wisecracking, smartmouth' who everyone should like.

That being said, i've always liked him. I don't know whether its all the posts about Trips helping him out, but i see Sheamus as the perfect guy to take up a similar role as HHH. Excellent as a heel, decent as a face.

Sheamus would get more face heat if he came out to "Paddy Lowered the Boom." You know, the one which goes, "Paddy lowered the boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boooom!" The melody was also the theme for the cartoon show Pinky & The Brain, but with different lyrics.

Kofi could then feud with Sheamus in a battle between the "Boom Drop" and the "Lowered Boom."

Big Show is the best thing that has ever happened to Sheamus. This feud and Sheamus seeming slightly "below" Show even though he's giving it his all puts him in an awesome spot where you wanna root for him to somehow topple the giant and regain his his spot as the ultimate badass.

So yes, I am a fan if they keep booking him in this way.

I've loved Sheamus for a while now. He's the perfect balance of loveable guy the kids can get behind and badass that adults can get behind. He's like what would happen if Cena and Orton had a baby and that baby contracted vampirism.

In fact I honestly could see him being the "next" Triple H. He's got everything to make him a top face and even though he's not face of the company material he'll always have a spot at or near the top.

This, but one month or so, instead of six months or so.

I do really like Sheamus when he's between the ropes, but there's something that bugs me about his character, he should either be The Celtic Warrior or the jolly Irish man, but certainly not both and preferably the former rather than the latter.

Especially after Show beat him, I would've liked to have seen "OK, I gotta stop joking around and start taking this dude seriously," instead of being the Cena-lite, perma-smiled good guy.

Been a fan of Sheamus for a good while. I don't see why people get down on the guy for being "too much of a face" or whatever.

He can (and has) put on really good matches with anyone from good technical guys like Bryan and Ziggler to big men like Big Show and Tensai.

They need to freshen up his gimmick. They should bring in his "twin" sister Shemus and they could repeat the awesome hilarity that was Santino/Santina.

Best 'big man' theres been for a long ass time.

Shame(us) there isn't many top heels for him to feud with. Mark Henry out, Christian doing whatever etc.

Would love him vs Taker though.

Still believe he was pushed way too hard initially the dude can already put on better matches than Cena ever could they just need to adjust his character a little so he's not as stereotypical that's all.

He's in a main event feud over the World Heavyweight Title. I hardly think he's in a bad spot right now

Also, 1200th post. Only took me 7.5 years to get there.

Lol same here. It's hard to feel sorry for a guy with a massive WWE contract, tons of fans and is a multi time world champion in the largest professional wrestling company.

Now poor Paul Titan on the other hand, headlining a show at a Flea Market this Saturday :'( Hey, on the bright side maybe Ill see Billy Kidman there :p

Wouldn't consider him underrated but do think he'd improve a lot if they'd tone down more on his "SuperCena"-like face character. He acts pretty heelish with all the bullying and insults he does which doesn't mesh well with him being the mega face of Smackdown.

In terms of wrestler, he's pretty great as a brawler big man type wrestler and a lot better than most big men types the WWE constantly tries to get over with the crowd.

I actually thought the Sheamus Big Show thing has been awful and repetitive. None of these guys are showing us anything we haven't seen before. If this kind of match meets expectations for the "World Title" then it just proves that standards have dropped. Sheamus sucks as a face.

#1-norm-fan
11-20-2012, 03:45 PM
Sheamus is over-matched for the first time as a face. In fact, it's rare that a face is legitimately over-matched without it just being "lol j/k face defies the odds and wins". It's not just typical bland WWE booking. Show was made to look like he was more threatening than Sheamus and when the match happened, Show actually took the title from him fair and square. It's doing wonders for both guys.

Sheamus needs the "RAW" rub as a face which he's not really getting. Involved in the secondary world championship, things like that.

hahah raw rub....

He can still be a face while being aggressive and that's what he needs is to start kicking in some skulls and not caring

Corporate CockSnogger
11-20-2012, 08:06 PM
Isn't that exactly what he's been doing? He's still the same aggressive wrestler, just now he does it with a smile on his face. Not much has changed since he was heel, really.

Supreme Olajuwon
11-20-2012, 10:33 PM
Yeah but he hasn't shaved his head and started stunning people so he's stopping us from going back to the attitude era

If the flea market you're headlining is near Stamford, CT, then your chances of meeting WWE camera coordinator Peter Gruner on his down time are greatest. Perhaps you can persuade him to return for one night as Kidman and help build the Paul Titan legacy!

Maybe you could convince him with, "You'll win two matches in a row to acknowledge your legendary status while you're there in the short term, and I'll win the final one to give long term benefit to the promotion!"

I like that he is very athletic in the ring. Very agile/mobile as well as quick for his size. Does not lumber around in there. Obviously not piston quick, but for a man his size he really has great conditioning and quickness. Same with Cena to be honest.

Ol Dirty Dastard
11-25-2012, 02:46 AM
difference between him in Cena in the ring is Sheamus is more hard hitting and more crisp, but Cena has the Cena factor which Sheamus can't emulate.
