I just watched Paige take on Alicia Fox and there seemed to be more actual wrestling moves than in pretty much all the main roster divas matches I've seen.

I'm saying that the match I saw on NXT seemed more like a proper wrestling match rather than a short segment on a sports entertainment show, which made me enjoy it more.

Yeah, I've noticed that developmental women's matches in WWE can be a lot more entertaining and worthwhile. The ladder match 2 DVD has a on OVW Beth Phoenix vs Katie Lea match that's pretty damn badass.

They're both young high energy athletic types instead of glamor model types. Since WWE is typically full of plastic blondes these two are understandably in the same category for a lot of people.

In terms of minutes, I think the matches on NXT are around the same time as the ones on RAW/Smackdown but they do a lot more wrestling in that time.

Noticed the real differences are how the matches are not treated as "piss breaks" like on RAW/Smackdown and anytime its a tag match, all the divas get involved or get some time unlike a lot of times on RAW/Smackdown as well.

I'm not surprised really, as personally, I think a major factor in her getting signed in the first place was her looks, and going by the documentary about her family that was broadcast here in July, her brother thinks the same.

Then add the fact that she originally had no interest in ever wrestling and the only reason she's wrestling these days is because she had to replace someone at the last minute for her dad's indy show a few years ago and that the fame and money of being a WWE Diva is what she wants. Again I'm going by what was said on the documentary.

In a way, she's sort of like Kelly Kelly. She can wrestle, but not that good and a big part of her being signed was probably due her appearance.

And they actually stress working on in ring ability. As if when they are called up to the main roster they will need that skill.
