I am having a problem playing DVDs on my computer.
I have PowerDVD 4.0 installed, but when I put the DVD into the only drive I have on my computer, it says nothing is in the disc drive.
I have Windows XP, btw, if that helps.
Help would be greatly appreciated.

Try re-installing the drivers for the player. If that doesn't work, the drive might just be ****ed up. :(

Yeah, it happens with every DVD.
Also, PowerDVD is the only thing I can afford.
Triple A, how do I go about doing what you talked about?

Find out what kind of DVD drive it is, like the brand, and go to the brand's website, and DL the drivers for it.

Nope, not recognizing it.
I put the DVD in and it says that there is nothing in my E Drive.

When you open Power DVD does it have a setting where you give it the location of the dvd?
or when you look in my computer does the DVD drive indicate that there is a dvd in it without opening PowerDVD up?
Like someone said you may have to reinstall the DVD drive itself. It may simply need cleaning.
