So they announced a Battle Royal for Raw next week. Who do you wanna see win? And who do you think will? (Two different questions) The winner gets a title shot at Bad Blodd in June. These are the participants -

Who would I like to see win?

We have yet to technically see the knucklehead wrestle in active action. It certainly would add a different storyline and twist with him being the sidekick of Bischoff. Certainly would add fuel to the fire towards a hatred between Benoit and Bischoff.
Chris Jericho.
Would be a great headliner but if this is the case, I can foresee Benoit going heel in this unique twist. I feel like Benoit would be better as a heel than as a face.

Who do I think will win?
Kane.
I just wish they would put Kane on the shelf for a while. I am sick of the lame storylines involving Kane. The ordeal with the one legged wrestler was bad enough and lame IMHO. Kane is well... not getting anywhere for me. I dont really know how to put Kane,

I Hope Edge wins because as you may know I'm a huge Edge mark.

Also taking a look at the Bad Blood promo poster, A picture of Edge with the tag line He's Back....You better watch yours, call me dumb but that would suggest to me that he's going to be in the main event at Bad Blood.

I could see Kane winning, but if they want to take a more interesting route, they could have Flair, Orton, Nitro, etc. win, but have Bischoff give it to Kane as the other can't compete.

Heres some of my thoughts:

Last Remaining Entrants will be:

Christian, Jericho, Triple H and Kane.

I think when its down to these four guys, HBK who isn't in the Battle Royal will come down and throw Hunter out, costing him the shot, cos this adds to the story line between the two for Badd Blood in Hell in a Cell.

Jericho will then Eliminate Christian in a rather amusing yet awesome way somehow, making both men look like the man even more.

Kane and Jericho will be left, with Kane winning imo, cos I've heard/read about Benoit vs. Kane for the title at Badd Blood, and they will want to cement Benoit's top face status even more, so will have Kane win the Battle Royal and him against Benoit at Badd Blood where Kane will lose, either fairly or have something do do with Matt Hardy and Lita in there somewhere.

Since Kane lost the mask, to me he's become bareable, his gimmick and look now are pretty over imo, and he deserves this push for the title, if not just for him, for Benoit to get over even more :y:

The battle royal is to set up the title match for Bad Blood...so Im going to say that Jericho will win, setting up a super hot Benoit/Jericho main event. And the undercard will feature yet another "specialty" match between Triple H and HBK, only this time HBK will go over as Hunter goes off to do his filming.

I would be Diasapointed if HHH won it.

Really the most likely candidate in my Opinion is Jericho.

He deserves it the most and Benoit vs Jericho would be a real treat. Perhaps another Face vs Face.

The only other wrestler i see winning it is Edge.

It'll be Jericho, but I'd rather have some who interests me (like Rhyno or Conway).

But Jericho is really the closet one too it. If it isn't Jericho, it'll probably be Kane.

Okay as much as I'd like to see that happen it won't... Jericho is going to win.

I don't think Kane will win, because I don't see this feud with Matt being over before then, although WWE tends to shy away from face/face matches for titles so it's still anybody's guess.

Logic the way I would write it:

Of the top guys that I can forsee winning this thing: Kane, Jericho, Orton, Edge, and Christian, I'm going to eliminate the solid faces because I'm still pretty convinced that the WWE isn't going to put a face vs. face match at bad blood. If they did, one would have to turn heel, so that eliminates Jericho, who is still working on getting over as a heel (it's pretty taboo to turn heel if you're not over as a face yet....well, not when you're a main eventer anyway.), and Edge for the same reason. I'm not too certain that Orton will win because it just doesn't seem like the time or place for the eviolution breakup to start. I think that'll have to wait until after Orton's next feud.

That leaves Christian and Kane. Of the two of them, Kane is just now getting into a feud with Matt Hardy, while Christian is just wrapping up his feud with Jericho. So how will he do it? Jericho and Christian have had a bit of a precident started concerning these matches. Christian always turns on Jericho and ends up getting eliminated. Now that they're not friends anymore, however, Jericho will be focused on eliminating Christian. Christian will do some kind of a reversal on Jericho or will dodge an attack and Jericho will accidentally eliminate himself. Once it's down to the last couple guys, Christian's "problem solver", Tyson Tomko will come out and either distract the remaining guys in the ring or will intervene on the situation personally.

However, the WWE doesn't see it that way. There aren't any rumors of a Christian push, so I'm assuming that means that he's not going to win the damn thing. In the WWE's eyes, they'd rather

A] pull Kane out of his feud with Matt Hardy and completely forget about the angle they have written for him currently
B] Throw in a face like Jericho or Edge and scratch their heads when neither guy is getting much of a pop durring the big main event match
C] Give us yet another main event match with HHH in it....:nono:
