I remember this was one of those completely random WCW feuds that I loved (these two teams wrestled each other at least twice a month) Considering the Nasty Boyz might be in the WWE Hall of Fame, where would you consider Public Enemy in the history of tag team wrestling? They were one of my favorite teams growing up, and looking at it now they had some good matches in both WCW and ECW with some great tag teams (Gangstas, Dudley Boys, Steiners, Harlem Heat and LOD)

I liked them. They had a solid run in WCW and were awesome in ECW. They were basically though a poor man's version of the Nasty Boys.

They were what they were, plus, they didn't make their money.

They were over, but that was about it. It's nice to remember them now and then, but they're not exactly owed anything else.
Somewhere near the bottom?

I second this sentiment.

i always thought they were better than the nasty boys, because they came out with a table instead of a garbage can of random shit

in fact, there was a brief period of time where i had a bunch of wcw wrestlers' posters on my bedroom wall, and they were one of them. although i was accused of being gay a few times because of the near naked guys, but that's not the point :shifty:

They were all right, I liked them, but in the grand scheme of thing their impact was negligable.

Somewhere between the Beverly Brothers and the Nasty Boys. Definitely over but it's not like they did anything revolutionary or were leaders in their field.

I guess a tiebreaker might be who had the better theme song?
Public Enemy's WCW rap vs. Nasty Boys' WCW rap
"Na na nonny / We like to party" vs. "Welcome to Pity City! / We're the Nasty Sensation!"

Cuse makes a valid argument.

I'd say they deserve a place mostly in ECW history. They were a decent tag team. I loved them in WCW, oddly enough.

Wish WWE gave them half a chance.

I agree completely.
WWE did that weird pseudo-shoot angle where they acted like they weren't welcome there. And like a lot of other acts that get popular in another promotion, they didn't do much with them.

Tekno Team 2000

Drew Carey
That one Ho who won the Hardcore title that one time.
These are wrestlers who I care about more than The Public Enemy.
