I feel like this show will be no different than previous seasons. I don't think Sonnen/Jones will have the "drama" because Jones won't get caught in it and we've heard Sonnen's gimmick many times before. If it was Sonnen/Rampage as originally planned, I think Chael would definitely be able to elicit a reaction due to Rampage's reactionary nature and that alone would be great television.

The House Hospitalizer sounds like promoter talk from Dana. Diego Brandao was that same sort of beast during his season and had people not wanting to fight him either, Dana just didn't hype him as such.

I agree that he looks damn good on TUF, but I'd want to see him against UFC caliber competition before deeming him a challenger to Anderson Silva. That's why I find a rematch up with Costa so intriguing.

The rest of that cast (except for Josh perhaps) seems very one dimensional and pedestrian compared to even the midcard fighters at 185. Bubba is an overrated biotch who really didn't deserve that spot anyways. I'd be willing to bet no more than three fighters from that cast end up with contracts.

That's my point though. All his wins, including the ones on TUF are against bums whose only wins were against other bums, while his only two losses were against legit UFC talent who were also up and coming at the time and good enough to get signed to the UFC before him.

That's why I can appreciate what he is doing on the show, but at the same time, I'm reserving judgment on how good he really is until I see him against actual UFC contenders. No one he has fought so far on TUF is that type of talent.

I do hope he sticks with Sonnen though. Chael is an amazing coach who could probably help mold him into a contender, but I think it will take some time. Don't think he's there yet.
