Do they hate Dicaprio?

I would guess Lincoln, Argo or Silver Linings Playbook will win best pic.

Granted, I haven't seen any of the nominees but...

Beasts of the Southern Wild/Life of Pi will cancel each other out

Zero Dark Thirty, Django won't win (Bigelow's already won, and from what i've heard Django is good but not Q's best)

Amour won't win because Haneke is either love/hate, Les Mis won't win because most voters will decided they like the studio indie (SLP), historical drama from famous director (L) or political drama better (A).

I think both Lincoln and Argo have a large cast/crew so I expect it to come down to one of those two.

Best pic will totally be either Lincoln or Argo.

Do they hate Dicaprio?

They do seem to, it's a bit bizarre.

Surprised Tarantino, Affleck, Bigelow and Hooper didn't get Director nods.

I might get angry if Christoph Waltz doesn't win

Avengers was the best movie last year. Fuck the Oscars, only women and the gays like to watch that shit.

Seth McFarlane was entertaining and the pacing fell to pieces after the first hour.

That's my review of the Oscars.

I wish both the Superbowl and the Academy Awards could get their shit together:

2 1/2 hours.

I imagine Seth McFarlane will never host again. Why the fuck did they feel the need to shoehorn so many (lame attempts at being) edgy jokes?

To make the show less boring. It's the reason Ricky Gervais did the Golden Globes two years in a row. I liked the opening thing but stopped watching after it also. How was the rest of it?

Drawn out and over-produced.

Very happy Christolph Waltz (evidentially pronounced Valtz) won. He just has a way about him...so brilliant.

watching argo win best picture... I saw the third guy, Grant Heslov? And the whole time I was watching him going "that's the motherfucker in True Lies..... and Dante's Peak..."

I found that so interesting and so weird that those three are connected and he is a producer.

Shit Bond tribute.

:y: What BS after all the hype about having all of the 007 actors appearing onstage together.

I found an article online stating that Pierce Brosnan refused to participate at the last minute and that ruined the whole thing.

What a bummer, Connery and Moore are both in their 80's, we could lose them at any moment in the near future.

What a wasted opportunity to have done something special.

I love the fake outrage over MacFarlane.

I love the fake outrage over MacFarlane.

Is there outrage over his "edgy" jokes or outrage at how shitty he was.

Also, fuck the Academy for leaving Alex Karas (MONGO) out of the death montage.
