Tonight's ending was the best to RAW since Brock fucked up John Cena before Extreme Rules in terms of building hype/excitement for a match.

The Rock is handling this a million times better than the Cena feud. He got his digs in on Heyman and had a fun moment with Vickie, but he got as serious as he has ever been in his career when he moved his attention toward CM Punk. CM Punk being the brazen hated underdog is intriguing. I can't wait to see Rock/Punk. I think Punk is going over too. Either way, I love how they have had The Rock show respect to Punk and have had Punk not back down an inch. This is the irresistible force meeting the other irresistible force. I am excited to see what they do next week and what kind of match they put on. I think it is going to be an instant classic.

This. x1000 times this. First song I was like Oh No. This might suck. Then grabbed guitar and it got a lot better. Back to what made the first one of these Rock Concerts successful.

Rock/Punk is already a bazillion times better then Cena/Rock and I hope and pray we don't end up with Rock/Cena 2 at Mania least yet. This Punk/Rock stuff could be drug out till Mania IMO without going off deep end.

Other then all that... "not just because it's what IWC says" but Daniel Bryan is over as fuck right now. Entertaining. Unworldly in ring and will be around for a while. Haters gotta get over shit. Period. His stuff with Kane has been off the charts good. This Shelby stuff is awesome and hope he becomes a manager type maybe with a run up to Mania with these guys.

Showing highlights and things weren't enough? I say kudos to WWE for focusing on building storylines and feuds over having another alumni reunion special like they did at RAW1000.

this is my exact feeling. Usually the legends segments are a wash and a huge letdown. Not always but usually. I'm happy WWE focused on the current product and went forward in pushing the Royal Rumble feuds.

I liked it better this way. Glad Austin and HBK couldn't show so we could keep rolling toward the Rumble. They blew their Raw nostalgia in the 1000th episode anyway, and we are heading into the time of year where surprises will be needed on the road to WM.

It's already been said here but we would have gotten the same 3-5 "legends" we always get if they went that route. It would be hard for me to get behind sgt. Slaughter and Dusty Rhodes when for 1000 we got guys like Sid and Vader.

It was said earlier but the feud is so completely one sided now, it's obvious Dolphs getting the big belt next with his MITB case but he's hardly been built up as a credible champion with it, Cena is at the stage now were wins/losses don't really affect him, letting Ziggler go over isn't going to hurt his standing at all.
