Whole show actually looks really fucking good.
FROM THE FRONT FUCKING PAGE!
WWE SmackDown (Airing Friday):
WWE SmackDown opens with Booker T coming to the ring to announce his plans for the World Title. Sheamus, Randy Orton, Dolph Ziggler, The Great Khali, Kane and Daniel Bryan are all in the ring while Alberto Del Rio is shown outside the building with a baseball bat waiting for The Big Show to arrive. Booker T announces that all the guys in the ring will compete in an Elimination Chamber match at the pay-per-view. Jack Swagger came out and wants in the Chamber match despite there only being six spots. Ziggler still has Money in the Bank, so he doesn’t want to be in Chamber match. He threatened to cash in his MITB contract during WrestleMania. Booker announced Dolph would have to face Alberto Del Rio tonight. Booker T then says Sheamus, Orton, Khali, Kane and Daniel Bryan all have to show him and Teddy Long what they can do to gain a spot in the Chamber match.
Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara defeated Kane and Daniel Bryan in a non-title match. Huge pop. Great match and fast paced. Mysterio took a hot tag in to a 619 and a head butt off top rope for the hometown win. Kane and Bryan argued their way out of the arena.
A video package of the recent Alberto Del Rio/Big Show feud airs.
Matt Striker tries to interview Alberto Del Rio outside the arena still holding the baseball bat. Del Rio says he’s getting some fresh air and tells Striker to beat it.
A video package of the 3MB/Khali RAW segment airs.
Jinder Mahal (w/ Drew McIntyre and Heath Slater) vs. The Great Khali (w/ Natalya and Hornswoggle). McIntyre and Slater tried to get involved but Hornwoggle put a stop to that. Khali then squashed Mahal. It was comedy and they kept it fairly short.
Booker and Teddy Long appeared on the screen from backstage and talked about Jack Swagger’s return. Teddy Long said it was his idea. Sandow and Rhodes interrupted and said a poem and then “hugged it out”. Booker T says Sandow has to fight Sheamus later on. Booker said they go from Rhodes Scholars to Roadkill tonight. “You’re Welcome” – Booker T.
A video package of the Paul Heyman/Vince McMahon RAW segment airs. The WWE.com segment featuring Vince McMahon being stretchered out was also shown.
Alberto Del Rio is still outside with a baseball bat waiting for The Big Show to arrive.
A video package of John Cena’s Royal Rumble win and RAW promo is shown.
Damien Sandow vs. Sheamus. Sandow was on offense early on. As Sheamus was gaining the upper hand, The Shield came down and attacked him. Sheamus took out Rollins with a Brogue Kick but was eventually overpowered and hit with a triple power bomb. No help for Sheamus. The Shield exits through the crowd while Sheamus is laid out. He eventually walks out with the referee.
A video package of Bo Dallas defeating Wade Barrett on RAW is shown.
Randy Orton defeated Wade Barrett in a non title match. The two fought to the outside of the ring with Wade Barrett in control most of the way. On the outside, Barrett went for a forearm shot and hit the ring post instead. The two fought back to the ring where Orton hit an RKO for the win. Good match.
Wade Barrett is backstage being interviewed about Bo Dallas. Barrett didn’t answer because he saw Dallas talking to some hot chicks. The two brawl backstage.
Jack Swagger defeated Kofi Kingston. Swagger started off with a technical style of wrestling. He kept pinning Kofi down to the mat every time he tried to get to his feet. Kofi hit the Boom Drop at one point but Swagger fought back. They fought to the outside and Kofi missed a kick and hit the announcers table. Swagger threw Kofi into the ring and submitted him. A really good match.
The Big Show’s personal tour bus pulls up and Del Rio hides. As The Big Show exits the bus, Del Rio attacks him with the baseball bat. Del Rio shouted in Spanish. Show yelled stop and did not fight back. Big Show climbs on top of a Crown Victoria car as he tries to get away. Del Rio smashed a window out and they continue to brawl. Big Show eventually gets into a second car and drives off.
A video package of The Rock/CM Punk RAW segment is shown.
Alberto Del Rio defeated Dolph Ziggler. A great match with “This is awesome” chants near the end. Del Rio was in control early on but AJ Lee distracted the referee and Big E. Langston pushed him off the top rope. Crowd was pro-Del Rio in San Diego. Del Rio hit some stiff kicks to Ziggler but Dolph came back and hit the famouser. Del Rio kicked out and hit a backbreaker but Ziggler kicked out of that. Back and forth match with lots of near falls. Del Rio came off the top rope and was caught with a drop kick by Ziggler. Del Rio eventually came back and won with an armbar.
The Big Show is shown backstage holding Ricardo by the neck as Del Rio was in the ring celebrating. He gives Ricardo a KO punch as Del Rio runs to the back to help out. He finds Ricardo knocked out and Big Show gone as the show ends.
In the dark match, The Big Show came out and cut a promo trashing the crowd. Del tries to race back to the ring but the trainers stop him. He breaks through and a brawl breaks out. Big Show grabbed a chair. Del Rio eventually gets it and hits Big Show numerous times with it. Del Rio celebrates to send the crowd home happy

I think they do it to keep him happy so he starts with the company and doesn't jump ship. Apparently he's quite the money driver from the Indian market.

They should kill the elimination chamber ppv off if they can't even have one chamber match be for a title.

Hmm, Sheamus being in the Smackdown chamber throws out what I thought was going to be the plan for the Raw chamber of Sheamus, Ryback and Cena v The Shield. Could've gone with Jericho in the Smackdown chamber.

So the guys were all picked for the Elimination Chamber cause they're all former WHC's, and that's what brought Swagger out because he was left out.
I've missed his amazing mic skills.

I didn't know Swagger was due to return now. Especially in the World Title hunt. I actually thought he'd return as a face and go after Cesaro's US Title. I'm so glad I didn't accidentally come across spoilers. It always seems to happen when something I'll really like happens.
So yeah, Swagger's return was a great surprise for me. I love the guy. His match with Kofi was really good, as was pretty much all of SmackDown to be honest. The opening Tag Team Match was particularly good too. I really enjoyed that.
I was surprised though at the disbandment of Team Rhodes Scholars. I thought the were going to get a run as Tag Champions but I was wrong. I'm curious to see where they both go now as there must be plans for them if their being separated. So it'll be good to see where they both go now.
Also, was it just me or did Del Rio come across as the heel at first when he was trying to attack Big Show outside the arena. To me, Big Show came across as the face in all of it and as someone who was just going around his business and he leaves his coach to talk to the driver of the car that's just sitting there (for no reason at all) blocking his way when some maniac with a pipe or wrench or whatever it was, comes out of nowhere trying to maim the guy.
But then Big Show became the heel again when he was shouting a Del Rio after his match and whacked Ricardo in the face with his fist.
But overall, I thought it was a really good SmackDown. One of the better one's that there's been in a while.

Only managed to find the first half of the opening promo on youtube but Swagger seems to have developed the Steve Blackman habit of SHOUTING random words for emphasis. Glad he's back on TV.

Yeah, I was thinking that the beard was a bit weird, but at the moment, I'm putting that down as it's just because it's new. Nobody is ever really used to something that's new straight away. :-\
The beard could grow one me over time, but we'll see.

And Damien/Cody are fantastic.
