The Punk / Rock feud easily is the one of the most swaggerific feuds in memory. Both have great dynamic on the mic together, way better than Cena/Rock. Every promo is straight baller between the two, what do you bros think?

It's about the 3rd most baller feud even currently happening on WWE TV. Not even as baller as the Smackdown title feud which is way more swaggerific.

This feud has been awesome so far. Loving the chemistry of Punk and Rock in their promos, and their match at RR was amazing. Punk's taken the whiny heel character and completely turned it on it's head since starting this program with Rocky, and Rock has been far more entertaining against Punk then he ever was with Cena last year.
Anyone who says they didn't enjoy the hell out of Punk's promo to Rock where he called himself God is either lying or just fucking incapable of being entertained.

Naw. Del Rio dropping orange paint on Big Show from his own tour bus or going to Big Show's hotel room hasn't been better than the classic Punk/Rock feud. Moron.
Punk/Rock was definitely one of the best booked WWE title programs booked in a while, sans Punk/Cena.
Bottom line, like Punk or not, he brought legitimacy back to the WWE championship, which in turn, made Rock's win all that more special. If Rock had beat someone like The Miz or even someone like Alberto Del Rio or Sheamus, it wouldn't have been nearly as special.
I'm a huge Punk fan, but I think the whole Punk/Rock feud was booked perfectly.

Some Bryan/Punk fans are gonna be angry with that assertion.

Actually, Jericho and Punk was booked better. And they actually had an incredible match to boot.

Punk/Bryan definitely had better matches, but I don't think the whole angle was better than Punk/Rock. Punk/Rock had a real "big fight" feel to it. There were was really no "suspense" in that angle because there was no way they were gonna put the WWE title on Daniel Bryan
Actually, Jericho and Punk was booked better. And they actually had an incredible match to boot.
Nah, Punk/Jericho actual matches were also better, but that whole thing with Punk's sister and whatnot was actually kind of lame. That feud should have been all about who's the best in the world, not "I'm the best in the world oh and your sister is a drug addict and your dad was an alcoholic"

"I'm the best in the world" is a pretty generic way to heat a feud up. The drama from Jericho fucking with Punk's family all leading up to Punk defending the belt in Chicago in front of his family in an epic match was incredible. And the angles leading up were entertaining.
Like I said, Punk-Rock basically all depends on how big Rock is and the guys cutting promos. And Rock for some reason doing an open mic comedy set about crackheads. There isn't any great booking to speak of.

It was both of their "catchphrases," how is that generic?
I'd rather watch a feud develop over who's the best than things like whose sister is a crackhead or isn't.

I think this opinion is based on a personal bias. You clearly haven't enjoyed The Rock since his return (if ever).
Also, when I say that Punk/Rock was booked perfectly, I'm talking about the build to the Rumble and the Rumble match itself. Obviously, the Punk/Rock feud is not over yet, so from that standpoint, it's hard to call it the best booked feud in years.

I enjoy the entertainment aspect. I liked the fact that Jericho got under Punk's skin so bad. There was more heat and drama behind that match in Punk's hometown and it elevated the feel of the match because of how personal Jericho made it.

Well... I can easily blow away this theory by telling you I was a huge Rock fan back in the day and still think he's great at what he does. The promos with Punk have been fine for the most part on both ends. So... there is no personal bias preventing anything.

Rock being a part-timer gives all of his feuds and matches a big time feel. As far as actual booking though, Rock vs Punk is nothing special. Promo war, one guy hits his finisher. Promo war, other guy hits his finisher. The Rumble match was nicely done from a booking standpoint. It's still a pretty simple, basic, paint-by-numbers feud.
And again, it doesn't need to be more. But when I watch a show where I know Rock is there, I pretty much known what I'm gonna get. A promo and probably someone hitting their finisher.

Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan of the Rumble match. Thought it could have been better and a little more creative. I would have marked for the Rock Bottom through the table spot, and I was happy that Punk looked like a million bucks in the match.

Was it better than Rock/Cena or Cena/Punk?
Nope
It shoulda been, but it wasn't. The rock bottom through the announce table was a bad attempt at forcing something into the match that just wasn't there. They had great promo segments, they are two of the biggest stars with the most potential to do something really special, and they just didn't at the rumble.
Once that move botched, they unnaturally laid there for a minute and then Rock just got up and rock bottomed him on the floor, but not before the ref awkwardly stopped counting because neither of them knew what the fuck was even happening. The false finish was stupid, the finish was stupid, and I don't think it's too much to ask for these two to tell a compelling story in thrity minutes.
If you look at both bodies of work over the years, you'd have to cherry pick shittier big time matches. Refute any of this?

The end with Cena getting cocky and trying the people's elbow was pretty memorable. Would have been more memorable if they had gone somewhere with Cena letting the haters get to him... but it was still a good finish.

They botched the table spot because the table broke, How the fuck are you gonna blame a table giving way because of weight on them? Especially when one of them is 150 pounds, no one would've thought the table couldn't hold them. Did it ruin the I quit match between Mankind and The Rock for you when the table broke because of their weight before Rock delivered the Rock Bottom?
You're obviously not gonna enjoy the next match between the two, so please save yourself the time and don't watch it.

They should have gotten 30 minutes and they were given like 20. They should have cut the tag team titles match to give them more time or cut the entrances in the Rumble a bit.
