If DDP can keep Jake on the right track, AND do the same for Scott Hall?
Most people seemed to be convinced Hall wouldn't even show up, including Kevin Nash, so this is big news in itself.

DDP should get the Nobel Prize is this happens
Trouble is, for all of DDP's intentions, it's Hall (and Roberts) that have to want to do this and, as they've shown numerous times in the past, they haven't been able to.
I'm hopeful they can buck that trend though.

WWE Wellness is run by doctors. I think they could bring him in as a consultant or try to incorporate his yoga into it, but he shouldn't be running it.

My big concern is Hall bringing down Roberts. The challenge will be when they aren't living with DDP anymore and they are on their own again.

And, yes, the two living poster boys for substance abuse in wrestling both getting clean... fuck, DDP should be nominated for sainthood if that happens and sticks. Greatest thing to happen to wrestling would be the Kliq getting into the HOF in 2014 with all 5 of them present.

Does Scott have any health problems besides alcoholism? I'll admit it, if Scott gets healthy again, loses the weight and gets his head straight, I would watch a Hall and Nash reunion match. They were suppose to have one in JCW in 2011 but Waltman filled in probibly for the best (Scott was in really bad shape) I would love to see the Outsiders together for one more match. Of course it's gonna be the Kevin Nash 6 and a Hall in his 50s but it would be a nostalgic thing to watch (a reunited Team 3D would be able to carry them through a match, they did before).

I know he has heart problems. I think he had some kind of surgery or something, and takes medication for a whole lot of things.
No doubt all related to the booze. His kidneys/liver probably tapped out a while ago.
he's had a pacemaker for quite a while now

Fuck a match at this point, I'd just love to see him coherent and ideally within the next couple of years a hall of fame spot.
I love seeing all the backstage photos from the past few years of any combination of Triple H, Michaels, Nash, Waltman, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn. Would absolutely love it if a healthy Hall was there too with them all.

Crazy what drugs and alcohol will do to you. DDP is two years older than Scott and only one year younger than Jake, but looks 10 years younger than both of them.
Really hoping they get it together. There seems like a lot of hope in that picture.

This is legit, yoga really is good for the body both mentally and physically. It is something that is done at your own pace, very simple and can really be used to focus on what is really wrong with your body.
Hard to believe that 3 pretty huge names in wrestling need to fundraise for whatever it they need for Hall. Hall alone should have money in the bank based on what was likely a huge contract with WCW. Guess a lot was wasted on drugs. And hookers, I bet hookers were involved somewhere.

Plus if he does it once who knows how many others are going to come looking for rehab bills to get paid. If it works I could see WWE chipping in on others though.

As the wrestling world seems to hear nothing but bad news, it's hard not to get behind the guy. Hall obviously needs more than just a yoga routine to get healthy, and hip problems would make it even more difficult just to get through the routine. A lot of guys would just give up right there, but good to see DDP taking the next step and trying to get him the help he needs that DDP can't take care of himself.
What is the mone for, btw?

Hip replacement surgery and the ensuing rehab. Same reason they did the fundraiser for Jake, he needed shoulder surgery and rehab.

DDP is in control of the account the money is going into, so I'm not too concerned. Apparently, Scott Hall has been with DDP and Jake for over a month. The fundraiser page says he is 40+ days sober.
I can only imagine the pop Scott Hall would get if he came out to do his Hall of Fame speech and he was stone cold sober and cleaned up. We'd get a proper Kliq reunion and pro wrestling would finally have a happy ending for one of these guys. Imagine the good that could come out of ESPN doing a follow-up E:60 piece on Scott Hall after all this if it works.

I'm talking about the opportunity in general. It would just be so tragic if he got the surgery, went through DDP's program and then relapsed a year later.
A sober Scott Hall being inducted into the Hall of Fame might go down as one of the greatest moments in wrestling history. I'm cheering for him.

It is inevitable they will relapse. Technically, one single drink is a relapse. The key is that they stop before they go back over the deep end. Hopefully, they both will have strong support systems in place and will have somebody to help them with a single phone call.
