Add CM Punk via a double pin on Raw for a triple threat?

I'd usually be against a Triple Threat at Mania, but this is an exception. It has the appeal that Austin/Rock/Triple H had (the match we never saw). Also the story is really building up for this, not a rematch with Cena. Punk has been such an important character it seems like a bad move not to have him headline Wrestlemania.

Overall Punk/Rock/Cena will be a better match than Rock/Cena II

Also nobody is mentioning that The Underetaker could challenge Brock for Vince and Triple H, instead of Triple H facing Brock in a rematch.

Yeah I'm starting to think Taker is taking this Mania off. And the more I think about it I'm alright with that, Triple Threat will probably be better the other 2 matches. And even if you do have taker at mania I'd love it if he faced Lesnar instead of HHH facing him.

Triple threat because Rocks matches are slower paced now which does not make for truly outstanding matches save for the last 5 minutes. Cena and Punk could do the heavy lifting this time around and set up for the final Rock-Cena match next yet bc apparently Rocky is already signed up.

I'd say have the Triple Threat, but make it an elimination match instead of the traditional first fall. This will allow Punk and Cena to carry 25 minutes of the match, Punk gets eliminated, then Cena gets his WM moment after a 7 minute one-on-one with The Rock. Allows Cena to finally pin The Rock, and makes the match a lot better.

And allows Taker to take the year off, if needed. :(

He doesn't deserve his moment. He's had his moment for the last 10 years. Also did that triple threat take away Benoit's moment when he made HHH tap? No, it didn't. If anything beating the two guys he hasn't been able to beat will make a bigger moment for the Computerized Man of the 2000's.

I like that idea, too. I wonder with the Swagger fiasco if they'd try and do Punk/ADR if Taker can't go. CM Punk loses to Cena, Punk is pissed off backstage and knocks down Zeb Colter or something. Zeb tells him to watch himself and Punk attacks Zeb Colter, challenges Swagger for his WrestleMania title match, and wins.

Jesus, get over Cena being the main guy. In terms of Kayfabe and storylines, Cena beating The Rock 1v1 is a huge deal. Cena pinning Punk in a match that The Rock is also in isn't as big a deal. I love Punk and yes, at another PPV a triple threat between the three would be Extreme(Rules)ly good. But for Wrestlemania, Cena v The Rock is the big match.

I think a Cena victory over both CM Punk and The Rock could actually mean more than a 1-on-1 victory over The Rock. Like Slicky said, Cena hasn't been able to beat either of these guys for over a year now. Imagine if he nailed Punk with the AA, sending him out of the ring, and then quickly put Rock into the STF and got the win. That's a big moment.

Yep. I would've had no clue who would win if Punk was going in 500 days as WWE Champion against Taker who we never know when he's gonna finally retire.

Personally I don't wanna see Undertaker/Punk any more than I want to see Rock/Cena II cuz regardless it's obvious what the outcomes will be and the former doesn't really benefit either talent. Pretty any much scenario would be considered a step down for a streak match so why not use it to make a young upcoming talent look very good instead? The only alternative I see to make the stakes really huge is to make a Fatal 4 Way between these guys that would make the outcome seem much harder to predict.
