View Full Version : wrestling moments we can all agree on

in the seemingly endless amount of disagreement in posts (and gertner just disagreeing with everyone & and everything to make himself feel like a unique snowflake) is it possible to find a moment that the whole forum agrees on.

a random moment where an angle/match/etc was put on or carried out that went perfectly, generated the proper response and is looked back on as logical.

lets try . we will see how many posts this goes before someone shits on this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kevec12cZwI part 2

money right from the get go, jericho at his charasmatic best in the intros.
Dean Malenko getting an insane pop & going to town on Chris in the match.

so who thinks this was well done and flawles overall? who will be the first to find fault in this

Malenko is a vanilla midget and boring. Yawn. He's the posterchild of boring. Get that nonsense out of here.

Mankind getting thrown off the HITC is more like it.

DDP's WWE debut is one of my favorite mark out moments of all time, I think most people can agree. The ensuing angle was liquid shit, but that moment was awesome.

Wrestlemania 24's Superkick though, I'm on board with.

Mankind winning the title for the first time.

Austin's involvement kinda soured all of that for me. It essentially had nothing to do with Mankind, and everything to do with a continuation of Austin/McMahon.

A moment that is as dramatic as it is athletic is was the match between HBK and Shelton on Raw. That finish was awesome. Shelton did a huge springboard, and HBK got him with the superkick.

But if you want someone that more people remember, the birth of Austin 3:16.

Savage DDP was probably one of the top feuds wcw came up with in the late 90's. Savage could do it all in the ring and DDP has said Savage showing him how to build a fued and work a match helped his career tremendously.
