4, dude was alright, not very memorable though.

I give him a 5.
He just never showed much in the way of in-ring ability or charisma. His gimmick, "The Masterpiece", was basically a remake of "Mr Wonderful" Paul Orndorff back in the day.
Actually, I feel kinda generous giving him a 5, but I will.

1. Masters with a manager could have caught on. charisma was abysmal so with his look a mouthpiece would have done wonders for his longevity

Do I think he's abysmal/has no redeeming qualities? No.
Am I bothered that he's not on my TV right now? Also, no.

He surprisingly won me over as a face, but not enough that I was really too attached. I'll give him a four. I wouldn't mind seeing him back, but I don't think I'd be bothered if he never did.

2. He was a guy I always wanted to see do well, but he never seemed to really get off the ground after his initial debut. I had hoped that he'd one day make it into the mid-card doing, well, something... but it never happened.

This is why he was over as a face.

One. I can't even guess when the last time I thought of him was before reading the title of this post.

5/10
His entrance and Master Lock challenge, which I think was unbreakable.
Didn't he attempt this lock challenge on goldberg at one point?

I totally misread the title, I thought it said "How much do u give Chris Masters". Now I see it actually refers to how much do we miss him.
That being said, zero. I don't miss him at all.
8/10, because he had some pretty sweet chemistry on Superstars before being released. Probably his best match was a three-way qualifying match for the 2009 Royal Rumble in which he backdropped R-Truth over the ropes while maintaining the Masterlock on Chavo!

These people are giving Chris Masters too much credit.

This guy has the right idea.
He was pretty mediocre in every department except one: his build. His whole gimmick and push was based on his build, which couldn't be maintained without the use of chemichal enhancements. He is an example of something that's wrong with "this business"- being the philosophy that "looking the shit" is everything. WWE is as much to blame for this guy being a flop as his own uncharismatic, bland ass was.

But, Masters would still be on Superstars.
