Think the guy who did all the remixes for Double Dragon Neon is in charge and is only doing remixes for the Ducktales game.
Also according to Disney, the sales of this remastered game will determine if they do more remastered games done originally by Capcom. Aladdin and Chip n' Dales were teased to be the next ones if it does get approved.

I remember play Chip 'n' Dale on the NES before I was even in school. I remember borrow Aladdin for the SNES from a friend and finishing it in the course of an hour or something.

"We have ALL the original voice actors from the show. Scrooge's voice actor is now 94 years old but he still came into the studio and did his thing like a pro. The voice work really adds a lot to the package."
Drakul
03-23-2013, 06:49 PM
Wouldn't that make the guy voicing Scrooge the oldest lead in a video game? That's obviously a record.
Kalyx triaD
03-24-2013, 01:19 AM
Perhaps. They should look into that. Maybe a Guinness record right there.
Emperor Smeat
03-24-2013, 01:26 AM
Unless there was an older guy recently, he'd break the record by about 7 years.
The oldest actor to have performed voice work for a videogame is Christopher Lee (UK, b. 27 May 1922), who played the role of Diz/Ansem the Wise in Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days (Square Enix, 2009) aged 87 years 124 days at the time of the game's release on 29 September 2009.

This is a good catch then. Should get credited for this.
Drakul
03-24-2013, 02:21 AM
Christopher Lee was 87 when the game was released so he was probably 86 when he recorded his lines. Scrooges VA is 94 when he did his lines and I can't imagine anyone older doing lines, plus Christopher Lee wasn't the lead in Kingdom Hearts.
SlickyTrickyDamon
03-24-2013, 03:58 AM
It's a 2D/3D game. I don't think being lead would mean he had to do alot of lines. It was probably just "its a me mario" type stuff. Lee probably had to do more because of cut-scenes and what not.
Drakul
03-24-2013, 04:09 AM
Intro/ending text being recorded as speech? Cutscenes, if the game has any.
SlickyTrickyDamon
03-24-2013, 04:14 AM
It's going to be the record no doubt. I don't expect much in cut scenes if they are trying to be true to the original.
Probably having him do "hiyas!" for the golf swing or something.

Capcom announces the PC will also be getting a version of the game and on several services. Also revealed the game will cost $15.
Specifically, it'll be hitting Steam, Origin, Impulse, GamersGate, Green Man Gaming, and more -- so you have options. The game will be priced at $14.99, and will launch "around the same window" as the Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U versions. Capcom is also teasing a new level reveal (the Moon?!) "very soon," leading up to E3.

I downloaded PC version of it.. And it's like Mario Bros without the star power ups. All you do is just pogo stick jump to kill enemies and Beagles.. Even on medium difficulty, it's a challenging one.. Trying to beat the Moon, Transylvania and African jungle levels. I love the Transylvania level though.
